After a bit of local digging, general concensus is that the bike will be a badge engineered , the people who i know , who should know, say that there hasnt been anything going on from an R&D point of view. So Triumph badged KTM it is.
I'm not sure who you've been talking to but they are talking shit mate. I used to work engine design there and have friends who still do. The design teams have been developing it for at least 2 years and it's all brand new.

Ive heard otherwise from a test rider for triumph’s street bikes. Apparently an all original steel framed 450 and 250 in the works. Triumph hopes to have a 250 teams on the gate for 2022 SX.

Would think that with those so called existing bikes Triumph could have posted some photos with the press release..

We will see if you are right, i hope you are, but if these bikes are going to be 'ready for SX22' then they would have seen already. I am not saying i am right, just what i was told.

Having been involved with stuff like this in the past, its either a secret that is nowhere near ready , or its something people know about and its ready to go. To be secret and ready to go , is some going.

We shall see. As i am currently on holiday and have been since the news broke, other sources will either confirm or otherwise.

Wonder how that's coming? Under 3 months- with no bikes or riders....

I believe there was already a MX bike that has already come out of an old Triumph factory. Did CCM have a connection to Triumph? Probably wrong. Just thought I would ask.

Hard to believe no one has leaked anything rebadged or original. I've asked around KTM and if they know anything their not telling. Would not shock me to see an original frame with a KTM engine at first with their engine coming later.

That's unfortunate. My son was a Triumph certified tech through 2016, when he moved to Nissan's AZ testing facility. He said the Triumphs were rock solid, as long as you ran the specified oil weight and a high quality oil filter. There were engine failures that invariably traced back to non-spec lubrication or inferior oil filters with cardboard/collapsed cores.

I've got 16,000 trouble-free miles on my 1050 Speed Triple. It does, however, eat rear tires.

I'm excited to see what Triumph comes up with.

I am too lazy to re read all 6 pages but I haven’t seen or remember where it was announced that they were planning on lining up for 2022SX.

Is there any news on these projects from TRIUMPH?

I have heard things all over the map, Does any one know anything thats not bullshit?

Just hoping to see something soon. I have a feeling with rare info, many people are gonna just go ahead and put this on the back burner as far as even considering it. Even when mx models are released.

I subscribe to a bunch of British bike publications digitally including a weekly called Motorcycle News.

They are always on top of British industry happenings, and I haven't seen anything since the initial announcements last year.

Mv Agusta has already been in the mx game they owned husqvarna from 1987 to 2010 . The fast by Ferracci husqvarna team that raced mx 2000-2002 seasons won Huston sx 2001 125, they came from street bike racing with Ducati and Mv Agusta. I wonder if they can just build off their last designs of husqvarna from when they sold the company it’s not like ktm used anything from those husky designs so wonder if they could just rebuild them husky’s and put mv agusta on them on .

I actually have one of the last true husqvana 125s made that's only been ridden a couple of times, hopefully in the future it Will be a classic and worth something.
