He's awful. Bringing him back over and over just shows how fucking clueless the NBC production team really is. I can't think of one redeeming part of having him on the broadcast. It's not his fault, he goes where he's paid to go, but NBC needs to figure out he adds ZERO to the show.

I find it wild they refer to guys like this for whatever reason and have actual talent like Blair showing us ruts in a start. Blair doesn't even get real coverage anymore and has the most real insight

They have GOT to get rid of this guy. I’ve seen him in nascar and he’s not awful. But wow, the broadcast crew really are embarrassing themselves by bringing this know-nothing on the show. He has ZERO insight on literally anything related to SX. Besides his 350k followers(which still isn’t shit) what does he offer to be on the broadcast?

They have GOT to get rid of this guy.

He seems like a nice guy and hes well known etc. I've seen him on Top Gear and hes pretty cool. But, I just think its unfortunate to take camera time off of Daniel to have Rut talk for the casual fans. Daniel knows his stuff, offers good info and is great on camera. Having Rut do random pointless things or ask questions that don't pertain to anything, brings very little to the tecast. Daniel explaining track conditions or race lines etc is much better for us, as enthusiasts, and informative for the casuals.

I record all the races just so i can fast forward when Will is rambling on how she chatted with somebody. But tonight was the most annoyed I have been for the tv package. When this idiot was doing the chalk board deal with a guy in the lcq was a disgrace. On a different note I have heard the NBC sports network is done at the end of this year regardless.

I think he is good for the casual fan. Like my fiance when she watches because she is new to the sport and he usually talks about things they usually don't touch on. I don't love every single commentator/reporter in any sport I watch but thats ok. I love the sports I watch too much to care. Our sport isn't that boring to me that I have to focus and bitch about someone who is on screen for only a few minutes a race. But leave it to vital to shit on anything and everything.

It just doesn’t make sense to me. Dumbing down a sport to appeal to a new audience only makes the sport look dumb, thus turning away the potential new audience. Treat it like a legit sport and maybe more people will find it interesting.
