My shot of Ryan Dungey from 2010 isn't as cool as Fran's shot but it was my favorite shot of 2010.

Hey Tom, a few other shots you captured scream motocross to me but in a different way!
No matter who you are, no matter what ya skill level is, no matter the level you just raced..
Nothin better than bench racing with a mate haha

Thanks Jemcee, I remember taking those photos of Michael Byrne and Chad Reed,I thought it was cool that they hung out after their race to watch the 250 race and were doing a little bench racing.
I need to take more photos like that, Rupert is great at taking those kind of photos.

Kurt. Jobe is just about to come into shot.

You have fans from both sides in that picture. Its just harmless Belgian v Brit enthusiasm, and was a part of Namur tradition.

That pretty much nailed it! I keep trying but probably this Barcia shot from 2011 is at close as I got.

What year was that taken? That looks recent if anything. I spent so many days at that track, but I can't make heads or tails of that picture. I see what looks like the old pits and the lower part of the track with the trees....but there was only 1 small road that went past it, not 2, with the fire station across the street. I guess the grassy hill with all the trails carved across it is the up hill start?

If that was Saddleback in 1981 you would see the track! You would see the levels that eventually became "suicide hill." You would see the highschool track, the flat track. You would see the entrance shack where Micky Dymond's sister collected fees. You would see the rental building, the announcers building above webco hill and the scorekeepers stand at the finish...and only one road going past it with a fire station across the street. I was looking for any landmark to spark my vivid memories of Saddleback back in 1981...there aren't any....
