I sent 3 different emails concerning size question for shorts, did not receive any responses. That in itself showed me that they are not much concerned in customer support. A lot of us older folks would love to support their continued efforts in JT gear, but I think they are now ran by a group which doesn't give much of AF......kinda like how the last owner became before dumping the company.

I know not too many into trials on here, but this one was special to me. My wife bought me my first trials bike for Christmas in 1999. It was a used 1997 Beta Techno. That started me and subsequently my kids down the trials rode in 2000. Even for the kid that wasn’t born yet. That 97 Beta got sold long ago, but the last few years I thought it would be cool to pickup another one sometime. I hafta say, I grew up watching Evel Knievel do his jumps and there are only two times since then I felt the same rush as I did watching Evel, first was watching Maddo hit that Arc de Triomphe roof jump/drop and then Travis' double back flip. Both were like, daaaamn !

Always been partial to Jenny Taft. She's the entire package. Class, brains, personality....and looks. Not a "cheap ho" like some others. Miss her bad on the broadcasts....

I find it a bit crazy that he isn’t in already. Was there some sort of schism with the AMA and his support of the Blue Ribbon Coalition? guess I also assume that Jody Weisel is in also, but maybe not. The Daisy/Hi-Torque crew were pretty damn influential during my formative years, and it’d be bizarre that their impact wasn’t recognized.

Super Hunky should have been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago. Rick had inspired thousands of riders to ride and enjoy motocross. What stinks is they will probably put him in now that he's gone, instead of while he was alive and could enjoy the recognition he deserved..

I honestly don't know when I use the clutch and don't outside of taking off from the start. I just do it. If I had to guess, I'd think most of the time I don't use it for shifting and only for power modulation, but i really don't even think about it.

I can't believe this race hasn't been mentioned yet. RC vs Bubba - 2007 Budds Creek Moto 2. This race was legendary. One of Bubba's scrubs over Henry Hill had my jaw on the floor. Absolutely epic moto!!!

I was racing on a shoestring budget in the early 90s, I’d ziptie broken plastic back together as many times as possible. But I always had good tires, clutches and suspension. When I’d pull up to the start, I’d look for worn tires on the line, hoping to find a couple of roached tires to line up between. It was amazing how often I’d find my two trash tires, pull up to the line and find myself between two bikes with perfect graphics and billet parts..
