Must-watch Memorable Motos

I went down a YouTube rabbit hole and want to hear from everyone else. Share your personal list of motos that are most memorable to you. What comes to mind when you think about the greatest motos of all time?

I think about Southwick 2011 Moto 2 and Millville 2006 Moto 2. I can replay those in my head without even watching video. I also can visualize Freestone 2012 for the sole reason that Baggett was launching  himself into those rollers.

The 2000 MXdN is a really good watch.  Ricky, Hughes, and Travis get it done.

I think it’s 2003 (?) Mount Morris, Pa. I consider it the greatest day of pro motocross I’ve ever witnessed.  Hughes Vs Brown in 125’s, RC Vs KDub (250/450) …. Absolutely bonkers.

Rup, mine is a very obscure one. 2000 Anaheim 2, 125 Main.

Talon Vohland was in the lead with Danny Smith behind him. Midway through the race, Danny put the front end of his Honda straight in the air and started doing the quad on a 125... and the place went mental.

Danny caught Talon on the last lap but finished second. If there was just one more lap, there would have been an epic drive by pass over the quad for the win.

If Dungey rode every race with the aggression he had at Southwick 2011, I think RV may have missed out on a couple of outdoor titles. He was going so freaking fast in moto 2.

Yup, that was insane to see in person. Difficult track to pass, 7/8 of a lap down, make that 15/16 of a lap down. Must see moto for sure.

The whole 2011 Outdoors is awesome, starting at Hangtown with Dunge as the defending champion, RV coming off his first SX title and Reedy’s first year on his own team.
Moto 2 on a chopped out Hangtown had the three of them going at it from lap 1.

I say this every time a thread like this pops up

1999 Washougal! Special guests! Surprise winners! Moore sisters!!

250's are incredible but the best is the second 125 moto! RC and Jason McCormick are going faster than anyone I've ever seen on 125's! Yeah yeah I know Stewart was probably faster but holy shit they were hauling

Canard and Pourcel Steel City 2010

The 2006 Hangtown first moto when both RC and James went down in the first couple corners and blew through the pack together is a good watch.

I can't believe this race hasn't been mentioned yet. RC vs Bubba - 2007 Budds Creek Moto 2. This race was legendary. One of Bubba's scrubs over Henry Hill had my jaw on the floor. Absolutely epic moto!!!

Michael I don’t think Steel City was 2010, but my memory is as hazy as my IPA’s….669C4800-B10D-4733-944F-3C222735C2B9

Cheers, brother, latest projects are a 1968 Ford Country Squire wagon and a 2002 Caddy Limo. Installing a Tremec 5 speed in the CaMoto this winter, out with the primitive Muncie 4 speed. 38700197-CC3F-4492-9D3C-AD4C66931E96

Damn I wish I'd known you had that, I just got rid of a 68 428 CJ aluminum intake that would have been a direct bolt on.....  I'll reach out to you via email, haven't been on FB in over a decade.  I can help you on any questions Danny may have on the old FE stuff to my best ability.  My Dad had a bunch of that stuff throughout my life, and as I stated, all we know is Ford, especially 60's muscle parts.  We have had 427 SOHC's. 2 Thunderbolts, 427 Tunnel ports, etc...

Some stuff still around I'm keeping of course since he passed, but a few things I'll let go.....  The 390 is a solid ass plant.  Can't go wrong, easy to wake up.
