A guy works at Star, he's a mechanic...his rider lines up next to some "other" factory team's dude & that rider's mechanic says something snarky to the Star mechanic...

Star mechanic says...in his best Jamaican accent...

"Ya, Mon...but, you only got 2 riders, Mon!"

Has a factory team ever had 9 guys on their roster at the same time before? I know Honda had 6 or 7 in the 80s, but I can't ever remember seeing a team this big in the past.

Do you think they stand in line to clock in with time cards when they get to the track

They are the Duggars Of MX....

Good for them providing so much opportunity, rare that a team provide that much support.

Personally I think it’s a super smart team strategy. Instead of putting all your investment into say 2 high profile guys that require huge $$$ contracts, you spread the investment out across as many good riders as they possibly can. The odds of getting more wins, a championship, and more TV time for sponsors increases exponentially. On top of that, they’ve developed a super potent production 250F that works well for a wide range of riders which likely helps reduce the amount of money required not having to develop big changes for the race motor.

I wish more teams would adopt this model to create more rides which would increase the quality and depth of each team.

Can definitely respect Yamaha for this. They have good odds of running the table just based on head count. Has any team ever won 250 East/West SX and 450 SX in the same season?

I wish they would go back to the 80’s and be white and red!

I won’t criticise anyone who’s willing to give so many riders an opportunity, good on them

It was based on a In Living Color skit that was hilarious; but, I get it. This is 2020, the Internet and some of us don’t know how to laugh.

Oh, by the way, did you see that someone posted skit, Mon?

Knowing how to laugh and knowing when to laugh are two different things, and I'm good at both.

I appreciate your attempt at humor, though.
