As David Bailey would say, “This guy is getting away with murder.”
How did that comment get two thumbs down? Listen to David describe RC at Anaheim when RC charged through the pack to dethrone McGrath.

Now that it is being discussed, Zacho's style does remind me some of RC. Just destroy the track instead of riding on it (and whoever is in the way).

I think it is great he is going to win this championship for many reasons. Great story.

Not saying his resume is even close but his style is very reminiscent of RC. Maybe not the prettiest at times but you can tell he’s going all out.

There was like half a lap where I thought the dude was in a nonstop crash but every corner he just kept the throttle pegged! And went 4 seconds faster! Absolutely determined and shredding.

It's great having all these new first time SX champs, maybe it's time for the trend to start outdoors.

I thought the exact same thing yesterday. Zacho reminds me RC with his low gravity style of riding.

Pretty sure they talked to him about it on the pulp show, if my memory serves it was Blair in studio talking about Chases form/style and Zacho said something to the effect of "you can still get it done hanging off the back"

ZACHO is the MAN in this championship right now. Dude was hauling ass yesterday. Looked like Carmichael out there destroying anything or anyone in his way. He epitomize's the all american dream of hard work pays off. The man represented us in the MXON last year, i hope he's considered again next go round. He's deserved all the success and seems like he is appreciative of being able to ride a dirt bike for a living all while raising a family and showing these young kids how its done. Well done MR. OSBORNE. Well done.

He said in the interview he knew ET was coming, but he didn't change his pace until ET was on him. He was stone cold when he took ET's line on that jump face and the 2nd half of the last lap became a non event after that.

Head games, "I will break you" stuff.
I don’t think letting some one run him down from a 10 second gap and barely holding on is going to break some one

Watching someone that rides will balls and heart makes me want to ride a lot more than watching someone that is “smooth and graceful”. Just me tho.

I have always thought that his short legs that look to be very strong and bulky are the key to his success. Some people may look at it as a disadvantage but he grips the bike and stands a lot and when he stands it’s much different than someone like Cianciarulo or even Tomac standing bc he stays so much closer to the seat. He also hangs feet off the pegs a lot where taller guys can’t get away with it bc they will drag the ground. It’s not just that he’s short, he has really powerful legs IMO. He grips the bike and uses body position different than a lot of guys, even the small ones.

Can’t argue with his speed or the cheques that this outdoor championship will produce. But he’s for sure the ugliest top 10 rider I can think of in modern times, maybe 2nd to de dyker if you want to include GP’s

Exactly. It doesn’t matter how it looks as long as it gets the job done

No, but going up over a full race day in the points on them sure will.

bad ass for sure, he don't quit, and like RC he can't stand 2nd, it's almost as if he wills himself to dominate.

I really am not a fan of his riding style. But he’s hauling for sure
There is literally no reason to thumbs down someone preference of a riding style. Osborne has the worst form, painful to watch, no idea how he goes that fast, it defies logic like the rest of 2020...

As impressive as his ride was this weekend, I still think about last week riding on a flat as well. It is underestimated in my opinion just how gnarly he was for refusing to pull into the pits while riding a front flat! He knew he would lose almost all hope of earning points in a Moto if he pulled in to get it swapped. To know he continued to charge as well as he could to hold onto something instead of pulling in, every lap, that's pretty gnarly in my opinion. As much as I love a guy like Stewart (huge fan) Carmichael is the only guy I can think of that would do something like that.

I don't see how anyone can call his style "ugly." Sure it's a bit unorthodox, but he's been my favorite rider to watch over the last 4-5 years. I get the appeal of guys like Dungey, K-Dub, and Sexton, but I like watching riders who look like they're going fast.

I listened to the Matthes review podcast with ZO on it.

To me, the coolest thing is getting to hear from Zach himself how he was able to pull the trigger and hammer down at the perfect time. I really enjoy the nuances of how fitness/strength/conditioning/cardio/whatever works into those decisions. Knowing exactly where your ability to put in the right pace at any given time in the middle of already running a pace that would blow the doors off any normal guy is so insanely cool. The level of fitness and knowledge of how to handle it is just awesome.

Watching him ride makes me want to sell my bike, whereas watching Sexton ride makes me want to load up and go to the track

Stanton was not known for his riding style but "6 Time" laid waste to the field for years.
