Shit does happen fast. ...but it goes bad way more often with Barcia involved.

Right, there's nothing in JB's history to suggest that this could be a blatant takeout. And there's no video evidence to show him coming from behind and inside into the very outside rut, where Sexton just happens to be. I blame Sexton.

Sexton overrides it a bit, pushes the front wheel and ends up cutting back to his left. If he stays on trajectory they end up super close but no one goes down. Not Barcia's fault at all.

Maybe some of you have forgotten about this little gem:

What does that have to do with the “incident” with sexton?

If guys don’t like the way barcia rides then they will park him. If teams don’t like the way that barcia rides then they won’t sign him. Until either of those happen everyone watching should probably chill out.

Wait, he was crying after his meltdown?

Bacia cut over on Roczen on the 2-3 lap on that little double before the second set of whoops. He can almost end someones night but when it happens to him he is a 14 yr old. I really hope someone smashes him over a berm. Disrespectful little punk.

"up to Barcia to pick a line and stop crossing over into everyone, that little pr!ck! nothing but his own doing. Fades left and right into everyone all year and reaps the rewards now it bites him in the a$$ and he literally cries? "

This isn't a april fools jokes. Barcia roosted Roczen intentionally after the race for no reason then went out of his way to where Vincent was laying and yelled at him and roosted him and the medical personal. It was no way Vincents fault. Barcia jumped across sOmeones line right in front of Vincent like he's done I other people many times before. Barcia deserves the fine for being such a poor sport and loser.

Wouldn't that just reinforce that when compressed into tenths or even hundredths of seconds of reaction time, one dude's tendencies may not be as good as another dude's?

As in:
"Barcia tends to make shitty, emotionally-charged racing choices".
"But he doesn't have time to think some of those out..."
"That makes the situation for those around him even worse!"

It’s going to be a sad day for Vital when Bambam is done racing.

So what happens if Marv gets hurt? Or Sexton? Or AC? I love Barcia's aggression until he uses his bike as a weapon, which seems to happen a lot lately.

weapon? lol get real dude. none of them got hurt. he cut over into ac9 that was aggressive. the rest, not so much. the guy goes for it. imagine if the rest of them did, and how good the racing would be!

How can you take a line that takes you literally across the track 2 corners after the start and not expect to hit someone? It may not have been intentional, but with the line Bambam took it was inevitable he was going to hit someone.

There moving at a good clip, for sure. A lot of wheel spin, tiny bit of hesitation to get into the rut they want. A 96 MC or Emig would,be dropped Tickle in .001

Bam Bam wouldn't have hit the dirt if he meant to take Sexton out.

Why not? We've seen Justin crash enough times to gauge that it isn't a 100% success rate in terms of intentionality

To answer your question - Yes, he was crying on the podium because the lapper wouldn't get out of his way.

This is AFTER he roosted Ken Roczen, a downed, injured rider, AND Dr. John Bodnar who was assisting the downed rider.

Barcia has immense talent and speed, but can't take what he dishes out. Fact.

Yes he is entertaining to fans, but Im sure no one who races with him cares for the way he rides, ask any of them. He is Vince Friese with talent and speed.

Hopefully I can get 100 downvotes from Barcia apologists, fire away beetches!

Its the start if the race and they know they are up front. That start and first couple turns are wide open for these guys. Their line decisions were made well before the moment of contact and neither could afford to yield because if they don't go down they still get buried in the field for checking up. Its a lose lose for both and definitely a racing incident

This is the worst of all possible moto takes.

I've always liked Barcia.

But it's a good thing everyone doesn't ride like this.

yeah, lines come together, but there is a certain amount of constraint and consideration which must be used in racing.

you don't see Tomac doing this, and he has a lot of titles. Barcia no major titles. So maybe this type of riding isn't all that effective.

Something tells me Barcia had no way of knowing the lines came together. If anything Sexton cut down on him. His outside leg came back before the contact.

Almost nobody else does this... Reckless disregard for everyone on the track (including himself).

You can't ride like Barcia does, and expect to win championships. He is certainly fast enough (on his good days) , but his poor decision-making leads to way too many crashes. When you go for close, aggressive passes, it increases the likelyhood that you may go down as well, and endangers the riders around you. The guy needs to get fined, or docked positions for his bad "decisions", consistently, and then maybe he'll smarten up. Until then, he's just an idiot (a fast idiot).

Cut him from the outside line he was committed too and on way before Barcia? Smh - you forgot to say "we all know Sexton is a dirty rider"

Racing incident but Barcia could have avoid it by letting off the throttle one second, he instead decided to use Sexton as berm and down they went

We should give JS the benefit of the doubt, based on his past.
