Its definitely awesome that Lucas Oil is the title sponsor for outdoors. Im curious on their ROI. How many of you all use Lucas Oil products? Ive used several of them over the years but nothing regularly.

I usually either go with Maxima or Bel-Ray.
Actually, after the plug fouling I started studying flash points. Motorex seemed like it would fit and that's what the manual says to use, so....
I use the Lucas (I bought a case of it...) in my trials bike now. Low flash point seems to be working well there.
I've used Lucas de-greaser spray and didn't like it.
Influenced my decision on what oil and cleaner I bought.

My room mate in college didn’t know anything about his car but would drain a bottle of the injector cleaner into his tank every other fill up. For no apparent reason, his dad told him to. I really think that’s where a bulk of their money comes from. The random additives or “fix in a bottle” type of stuff.
Those API ratings on the back of the bottle - there’s only so much an oil company can do when it comes to base oil, wear additives and viscosity improvers. where people get sideways is the marketing, what you’re really getting and what you are paying for.
I worked for an oil company in the '00s. The CEO, who was my boss, had a healthy rivalry with most of her competitors, but not for Lucas. She said that she could respect companies who gained an upper hand through great products, but not ones which did it through marketing. Take that for what it's worth.
It's surely possible they're blending their additives themselves but economically it doesn't make sense. Most aftermarket oil product sellers have the manufacturer blend and package it for them.
Maybe coincidence but it's the only first hand data point I have.
