By your own admission you don't know much about ATVs, or which Chinese brand did well in the Dakar, or if there is any money in MX or SX, or the size of the dirt bike market, or how much the major brands source in China. On that basis, everything will be a surprise to you...

Been along time coming for Deegan just like when Mookie and Bogle took it to Barcia. Kitchen was just the guy who delivered the message.

the AMA gave Kitchen a warning? Good lord. Deegan barely even fell over. When Deegs punted Davies, not a word from the AMA. they shoot themselves in the foot constantly.....

The gentle punt that broke Schock’s collar bone? Against a guy with no dog in the fight. Ok got it lol.

Listening to Pulp among other media members and the Twitterati and everyone acts like the SMX Playoffs are a gimmick and a joke because 3 races don't make a season. I totally agree if that's what they were saying but if you look at it as a true playoff (Raceoff maybe?) then it's totally legit. I believe they are trying to make it like other sports and if you compare it to NFL Football, last year my Lions went 15-2 and were the champs of the regular season. They had a bye week so they had a 3 game season...

I think many if not most would agree that Spring Creek is an all around better facility, but when you say Unadilla is flat and lame you kind of blow your credibility and look, well, dumb.

I was at Unadilla for the 1987 MXoN and the place was PACKED so yes international can and will make the trip. Bring back the original rough not SX track for this event.

Response to Spoonguy: I 100% agree that Unadilla isn't what it used to be, but it's still an amazing motocross track and facility. It wasn't wet enough and I don't think having practice on Friday helps it. If the track owner wishes to have "Open Practice" just do that Sunday and Monday afterwards. Maybe wait and do the AHRMA Vintage weekend in the fall so the Unadilla MX track COULD be grass again for the AMA National. (not my photo)

“Basically flat” My calves hurt just as bad after both races. Millville has one big hill, Unadilla drops in and out of one hell of a valley. I bet Unadilla actually has more elevation per lap than Millville. Millville has a higher peak number in change of course, but total change per lap I think is owned by Unadilla.

" it basically finds all the evidence available and summarizes it well." Well, yes, except for the obvious part that it got completely wrong. 🤣 How can we trust the rest of the result with such a blatant mistake included? AI can be very useful as a tool, so long as the results are verified by someone who knows what they're doing. The problem is that it's being used more and more without verification. Look at all the posts here that people blindly copy and paste the Google AI result from a search. Our society is quickly losing the ability...

It took the asterisk guy 41 seconds to get to him. I’m not sure where he was stationed, but 41 seconds is not that long, when you consider where he had to come from to get to Mosiman.

That's hard to watch, you hate to see someone in such distress i hope he's ok. In regards to the flagger, he did everything right it's not his job to attend to the injured rider that's the medics job, his job is to alert other riders of a hazard ahead and to be cautious and the red cross flag is to alert medics that they have an injured rider who needs attention. Good job flagger you did it right.

Hey... I resemble that remark. Guess what the first 2 things they teach you are, 1. Don't get run over 2. Wave the flag into oblivion to prevent any more collisions Guy seems 2 for 2 to me. 🤷‍♂️

So the flagger stops waiving the flag to administer first aid in the situation that you describe. Can't see any problems with that approach?

I'm not sure what people expect. First rule of EMS is make sure scene is safe and flagger did that. How soon do you think is reasonable for medical to be at the rider's side? And how many people do you think it would take to meet that standard around the entire track? Would you rather have 5 guys that know the sport and the nuances that come with evaluating these guys on the side of the track or 10 guys when half of them might do more harm than good? Quality of care matters too. Not just a warm...
