Anyone here have secret rituals, habits or other stupid abbreviations before riding out? And feeling bad when you cant keep up With it?
Mine is putting up my gear: right-left sock, right-left kneebrace, right-left pantsleeve, right-left boot. Any other sequence disturbs me.

I'm not so much... just stretch.
For the moment i still have to kick my bike to start her up and the first kick i just take it easy and don't kick it hard.
What else... i like to stretch... mmm nothing more i think

Right sock on first, NEVER walk under a ladder, ALWAYS toss the first chew out of a fresh can on the ground, No haircuts on Sunday, Pictures of loved ones on tables and what not, turned face down when gone from home longer than 3 days, Never, ever, EVER break a black cat's path if one crosses the road in front of you. Don't rock a rocking chair if nobody is in it, Black eye peas on New Years day (Not the band btw....), Dear God don't break a mirror, that shit sticks around for quite a spell. If you hear an Owl hooting in a direction, do not travel that direction the next day unless absolutely needed, Left shoe on first, Never piss on a dirt road (find grass if no other options are around)........

Right boot first.
Right glove first.
Before EFI, check petcock about 800 times on the gate.
Never ride on my birthday.

Oh, and if I know for a fact that the ride in question will be my last on that bike before getting a new one, I don’t go. Wadded myself on the last ride of my 94 CR, got to stare at my nicely equipped and shiny-new 96 250 for 12 weeks in a cast...never again lol.

Left sock first, left knee brace first. Seems I'm in the minority. Might have to try right sock first. I have a small hole in my left sock so it makes for easy identification. Hahahaha

I'm left side first always.

Biggest is don't ever race in brand new gear, it has to be practiced in at least once. EVERY time I have worn new gear, I have had some sort of bad luck with crashing or bike issues. I've tried work-arounds like washing the gear before the race to "wash the bad luck away" still ended up throwing away a moto. I've officially given in, and am done racing in new gear.

I try to make one sacrifice to the dark lord. If I don't do that then I feel uncomfortable on the track.

I actually do put my gear on in the exact same sequence every time I ride but that is more so I don't forget something.

I can only load unload on left side... Sometimes use a coin toss to decide on what gear combo to ride with. Even though I run rental fatbars I always check the barpad making sure its in place right Silly

My only sort of superstitiom is that if I don't feel confident and comfortable I don't push it and try to acclimate, otherwise I know wreckage is coming.

I used to bounce back and forth between 17 and another number when I was racing a few different series’
For some reason whenever I had the 17 on my bike I’d grab holeshots, I’m not superstitious or a believer in any of that, but needless to say I stuck with the 17 and dropped the other number lol
