Well here is my 18/19/20 and maybe 21 LOL actually 19 Love this bike! This was my dream build and since I only have 13hrs on it and 6 on the new mod top end and I have some coin invested. Unless Zook comes with Estart and at least 10lbs lighter it will be my 21! I just can't see changing up to Honda or Kawi (yet) plus having a practice bike as well. Thank god for good sponsors BC if I woulda had to pay retail for this bike your looking at a $16,000.00 RMZ450 thats with the $6300 I payed for the bike new. If you wanna know I have around $10800.00 actual in it. Way better than a stock pumpkin by a mile and all my fat old ass can handle!

I like the Honda, it looks like KTM engineers designed it.
No one has info on 2021, even Japanese riders nor a guy that is closed to jgr! So yes my mind is twisted! If you have...

Typical Zook to be last to the table and sounds about right for the late Sept date. BNG sounds about right as well. However I will say this. Before the Rona hit I have a friend that is in the industry and in Japan allot. He has a inside scoop usually. Here is what I was told B4 the Rona. Better suspension settings IE valving and spring rates, It was on a diet was hearing 5-8lbs and Estart but my guy still has not gone back to Japan and hasn,t got any updates for me. So I wouldn't be surprised if all that gets put off to 2022 will give zook the excuse they need to put it off another yr. All that said he didn't think Honda was going to have the 450 for 2021 and same with the KX250. So we can hope i'm just not going to count on it!!!

And that very bike, in the right hands, can still do a ton of damage on any level today. Damn solid platform

Raced a cross country event on the weekend on a 20 RM-Z250, dead engine start with hands on bars, started first kick, I still fumbled clicking into gear and still managed a mid pack start over a field of E-Start bikes.

Yea but they didn't make hardly any improvements to it so it was a flop.

Hardly any? It's an all new bike except the engine. The updates were major.

I said the changes they made weren't that good, not that they didn't change anything.

I love how you guys made an obvious troll thread into 5 pages of a yellow circle jerk. When you applaud a guy for getting a mid pack start....you know your standards are low. Not too mention the bro with over $10k into his 3 year old bike....with 13 hours on it...Please prove to me how it is better than any other stock bike...and how would you know? 5 hours a year will tell you very little about how a bike performs...

PS: Most of the guys kickstart their bikes in a dead engine start race...it is usually quicker.

Jealous Bob???
For the sake of this post I am the "bro" with the 10K bike. First off its a 19 I have had it 15mo not 3 years. The reason for the low hours is I have a practice bike 2016 as well so I put the hrs on it. Plus with the Rona and weather last summer I didn't get to race as much as I would like.
Ya Its faster and handles way better than any stock bike. I set my bikes up for me. I also would say it will hold its own against a moded bike of another color.
I also will let your ignorant self know I have been racing moto for over 40 yrs. Im old 54 fat and not as fast as I once thought I was but I promise you I still know my way around a MX track and my knowledge of and about mx bikes and how to set them up surpasses most.
We all appreciate you adding to this 5 page thread.
