The D952 is unique (and nice) for sure, but it's the lever positioning that's really interesting. It's Shae Bentley's nightmare.

Well spotted. Those lever positions have me scratching my head.

If we're basing a bikes performance on how it starts, then I don't think this sport is for everyone on here.

YZ's haven't changed much since 2006 and I still can pass guys riding 2020 450's on mine.... some people blame their bikes but it is their lack of skill that make them SUCK.

Yeah it's exaggerated in the pic. They're angled at probably 130 degrees from the bars. I'm 6'4" so it's a bit more comfy when standing

Year - 2014
Location - Toronto SX
Rider - James Stewart
Bike - RMZ450

My opinion - Unlikely a current rider today on a 2020 bike would have beat him that night.

I've watched this race countless times and never get tired of it.

Hope ya all enjoy the refresher....

C'mon man, no way....

If Roczen was there on a factory KTM he would have won.....OH WAIT...
If Dungey or RV were racing they would have beat Stew.....OH WAIT...
If Barcia wasn't on that junk pig Yamaha he would have won....OH WAIT...

I know.....TOMAC!!! Tomac wasn't there!

LOL
No way Tomac could handle Ricky or James in there prime and the bike wouldn't have mattered anyways. James was the fastest I ever saw in person. Too fast for his own good.

Just the KYB SSS hasn't changed much. Was the best back then and still the best now.

He was talking about YZs, not YZ-Fs.

Love Suzuki’s. I had twisted development do a vortex ignition and it made huge improvements to the bike. Suggest it to anyone that owns one!

Oh damn, where's your ride pro? Ride Vegas and see how far you can lean before it kicks out. In fact, Bakersfield is close enough, come show me how it's done on these glass streets.

I had a bunch of KTM's over the last 6 years. I like them a lot. BUT, the prices are getting kinda out of hand to where the Suzuki is become more appealing. I've rode one of the new Gen, and to me as a vet A rider, its good and very easy bike to get use to quick.

Last race I did was at birch creek in VA, big long start. Top 3 to first turn where all suzukis in all 4 motos.

Just correcting your statement saying there wouldn’t be any new bikes, not even BNG. Not true...
But twist it how ever you’d like...
I like the Honda, it looks like KTM engineers designed it.

So yes my mind is twisted!
If you have info share it!
P.S : I don't see suzuki Japan sending 2021 bikes in may during the corona virus...
