It always does. And Broc has pretty much the most spotless reputation as a faithful team soldier of any rider in the entire business. So where does that leave the sport as a whole after the aforementioned article?

Wait, wait, wait a sec here... The thematic implication Cooksey lays out is that teams will protect organizational big fishes if larger-than-sporting issues are brought.

Thus, I don't expect El Hombre to say anything a bit different than he did. Which is fine, and I am not suggesting Jason has done anything wrong. But playing as if it is a non-corporate COOL GUY position to say "sanctioning bodies can suck it!" when they just-so-happen to be the ones investigating those who are writing your paychecks... Well, it is not exactly a free-wheeling renegade move.

Cooskey is on last nights Main Event I “Cant Talk About it Cuz I’ll Get In Trouble” Moto’s show. They almost touched on Aldon/Anderson, but they want you to pay to hear their opinion.

Hmm?.....I guess I'm way out of the loop on a bunch of stuff. I never saw Cooksey really stir up any shit or cause any problems , so I'm not sure what the dislike is about? I thought he was opinionated , and some of those opinions I didn't agree with , but don't we all have certain opinions that not everyone agrees with? Like I said , maybe I missed some stuff.
the only possible solution, man.

Don’t know much about him other than the “alpha dog” stuff, but after reading a couple of things on his new site it seems like he’s copying a page from another ‘motojourno’. Nearly each piece comes off as a manifesto of how everyone should think and why everyone is wrong for not agreeing with them.

I haven’t seen a lot of Cooksey’s stuff, though, so maybe I am wrong. But the stuff that I have seen sure seems like that.

Wow shocking Cooksey with a hot take Tongue The guy is a joke, all he does is throw out hot takes whenever he suckles his way onto Pulp or Main Event. He's going it on his own as a "Moto media" guy and time will be the judge. He won't be getting any clicks from me, that's for sure.
I don't know the guy or the history behind him...BUT....he just had an actual interview with questions for a SX star. As in, actual specific questions about controversy surrounding our sport. Then he got an answer from one of those SX stars.

That is far, FAR more than most of the "moto media" get which typically consists of "How did you feel tonight?" and "What are you looking forward to next weekend?" This guy took a controversial topic and pushed to get a real answer...AND HE GOT IT.

On another note, Ando is a cool mofo.

Is there an investigation involving Anderson’s employer going on?

I took the “suck it” comment to be in reference to the AMA (actually FIM?) not enforcing the track cutting type of stuff consistently.

Cooksey on main event moto is making me insane. Click bait - argues the other point to just be on the other side.

He wrote for Vital last year, so you can go read some of his stuff.

I don't know about tc41 but I can comment on Kenny and James....both of which said the same thing. "His methods arent for them" it does makes you think that the impossible is possible, that something underlining could be taking place.

Nutrition is a volatile corrupt organization.

End game, big business are always going to do anything and everything to win. As long as there is an out for the big business and doesnt affect their brand they dont care how it gets done! It does make you think~

Is aldon just that good, or is "HE/peds" just that good?

I guess the one thing that concerned me in video of Jason was him saying "Aldon didnt like what you said about him in an article" he came to Aldons rescue rather quickly and it was almost robotic in his approach. I guess if im cool with someone and they talked shit about my trainer I would care less! That's their deal....

Whether or not Cooksey is an attention whore, the lead of said article was that Broc says he never ingested a single supplement or training aid that wasn't provided directly by Aldon Baker.

That's some pretty clear cut stuff, not related to the messenger.

Thought he was pretty clear in the video interview, when questioned about why his trainer blocked someone, he answered in his opinion why, further questions lead to... "go talk to him about it".

The problem in the article is that Cooksey quoted Broc saying that he didn’t take anything outside of Aldon’s program when the fact was he used something he bought over the counter at GNC as he has admitted to many times...As far as Trey he just didn’t want to move to FL had zero to do with Aldon’s program...

Cooskey is not going to get the same access that he has had by putting out op-eds like this one. What team is going to want him around?

Like the way that Anderson handled it in the video.

How isn't this interview with Jason considered media or journalism? The title isn't clickbait, Jason said "the AMA can suck it most of the time".

Praising the AMA with a blindfold on isn't going to make AMA better. I'm struggling to understand the point you're trying to make, since it doesn't seem to go with the interview posted.
I think we're on the same page because I'm not "Praising the AMA with a blindfold on" as it were. Perhaps you misread my original post. I actually thought my point was pretty clear but let me back this up with facts.

1. 0:05 - At the beginning of the video, we have Cooksey asking Jason a question, "...you got cleaned out by Brayton, last week Mookie got you, and you had a ridiculous penalty. What did you think of that?"

-As a journalist he's showing his bias because he qualifies the penalty as being "Ridiculous". A real journalist would have asked how he felt about the penalty without injecting how he feels about the opinion.

2. 1:55 - Jason says, "The AMA can suck it." and Cooksey's response, again biased, says, "I don't disagree."

-His job isn't to agree or disagree. A journalist collects facts and information and shares that information.

3. The title is click-bait even if Jason did say it. You clicked on it didn't you?

Again, I like the line of questions, I don't like the execution. It feels more like he's trying to be buddies with the riders instead of being a professional journalist. It's a fine line for sure in order to get access, but at the end of the day, the media's job is to report not become best buddies. Essentially, all media these days, moto or otherwise, is manipulated into being a marketing tool. You want access, you only publish what we want.

To be clear, I don't see real journalists in moto. Maybe only a couple. Michael Antonovich, GuyB, and Weege. That's about it. And even they get caught up in the TMZ of moto media. Everyone else is just looking for podcast filler and website clicks.

I'm all for calling out the AMA and holding them accountable. A real journalist would ask unbiased questions and allow us to formulate our own opinion.

Hope that clears it up.
