This cost isn't the standalone cost in materials alone. The cost of the materials are much less. Its the complete process in which you see the finished product in between those clamps.

The oem's have the money and facilitation to build and test parts in house for a bike that is manufactured at home. The ins and outs of the bike prints/schematics is owned by one company and only that company can truly build parts that would benefit the bikes architecture as they have the tooling that is essential. Im a bit confused? Your selling a bike to upgrade to something new from a bike that you only used for 21 hours? Well okay, maybe try updating the 17' If not.... No shortages from ktm or husky. They are everywhere and lots too choose from. The japanese bikes are a bit harder to come by.
I agree 100% no alcohol on trackside. If your riding then ride, shouldnt have time to drink. If your spectating then make sure your watching out for the community in general. Typical yamaha blues. Yamaha has more cracked frames than any other manufacture in the last 20 years by a long ways. They need to stop worrying about adding power and start worrying about their QC and customer relations.

Suzuki might be lacking on MX development but they sure know how to manufacture competitive bikes. As for anyone thinking all other brands are way ahead (in motocross) just because of electric start you are clueless about how modern top tech engines look like.
