Press day is the stupidest shit ever anyway. Unless they wanna have every rider entering the event have a chance to ride it.

Anyway, they both look dumb. Why race so hard on press day?

Think barcia put his hands up like "I'm not touching him" because that could be a more serious fine.

A big nothing. Davalos cross jumped in front of him and Barcia gave him a little love tap in a slow corner. Barcia is good enough to know that he wasn't going to hurt him, pretty much the same thing as a pitcher giving a batter that is crowding the plate a little chin music.

Barcia was just saying: "We don't play like that here, you gotta earn that kid...….. errrrrr Mister."

Just in case I gotta explain the joke, the Mister is because Marty is olllllddd. Laughing

Martin either made a mistake or did a stupid move, in front of anyone else and on press day nothing would of happened, but Barcia obviously took exception, no surprise there. In a race where both are fighting for position and points, yeah I get the move, but press day? I just dont get the over the top aggression, no need for it, especially if Martin had got injured. IMHO.

I like barcia. Im even more or less a fan of his riding style. BUT that was a complete dick move even for him. I would prepare to have my night fucked if davalos is close. Cause i now I would come main event time be paying him back when it counts.

Davalos got off easy, IMO.
Cross jumping is way more dangerous than Barcia making him fall down.

I’m pretty sure Marty didn’t know he was there. I stood by that section today, and everybody that went triple double or double triple to the outside went from right to left.

Yeah no, that’s impossible.

1. Everyone can tell when another rider is on their add and right on their side

2. Revert back to 1 above and multiply it by a factor of 3 based on Barcias revving tendencies

Perfectly executed take down by Barcia.

In the early 90’s this is celebrated. Now not so much.
Early 90s this would have been frowned upon by lots of people 100%. There just no vital for Vitards to express it... And if you watch on the TV now the presenters don’t instantly into pansy mode after something dodgy and they use the takeouts as montage fodder...

So without the ability to complain on a public forum it would have seemed like less people were havin a sook about the move but I find it hard to believe. And with the takeouts shown ad nueseum they must still appeal to the general viewer...

Barcia being Barcia. No problem, just a lil' competitive fire from both of them.

They had a run in last week during qualifying and then another get together in the main event, so like someone else said this stems from more than just Davalos cross jumping. They got a little thing going.

1. Marty knew he was there. Whether he jumped left intentionally is something we'll never know.
2. For Barcia that was tame, on a 250 he would have waited another turn and then went full throttle into his tib-fib in the flat 90 degree turn, then roosted the medics and punched a dig-dug.

I’ll say what everyone else seems to think when rider A takes out rider B. Rider B should have checked up

Last week at Oakland Barcia cleaned Davalos out on the first lap of the main event after the seat bounce double after the sand section. I could see where he would be upset. .

Who gives a shit if Barcia got aggro with him during last week’s main event. That’s the guy who had the red plate at one point trying to get his season back on track and making moves towards the front.

Cross jumping in retaliation on press day a week later is so petty and childish it would be laughable if it weren’t such a dangerous thing to do. Barcia gave a very measured response and Davalos cried about it again. Anyone criticizing Barcia here is a hater simple as that.

I've worked as a dig-dug and I've stood next to Barcia. I like him but it would not end well for him if I was the dig-dug. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Barcia does the same stuff year after year- win at the outset, get people's hopes up that this is the year, and then Barcia gonna Barcia.
