With two triples placed back to back directly after the start segment, will this produce the carnage for feld's highlight reels? Should the triples be reserved for the segments near the end of the lap? Just thinking aloud.

Pit Row
Every weekend there is a section that they have to tame down after the 1st practice that was so obviously over kill from the beginning.

Whoops like those separate the men from the boys.
In my opinion, whoops and other extremely difficult obstacles are what make Supercross exciting to watch. Pretty much every rider all the way down to the slowest guy in the C group can jump through the rhythms, hit SX triples, etc, but whoops are the best talent separator. I enjoy watching the pros struggle through a section and make mistakes here and there, and it separates even the top pros from each other in some cases.
When I saw the track map, i was more surprised about the first rollers into the rythm section right off the start. Especially coming in with speed after lap 1. I am not a big fan of rollers, personally just in term of confort depending on the size because i had some big crashes here, but especially into a rythm so many things can go wrong in a milli seconds i would change underwear each lap. It looks simple but it is not. This is quite new, personally I would not feel confortable but i am so far from a good level that it means literally nothing. Maybe if you ask all the top 10 they would say it is just technical and not really sketchy, but maybe not.
