As sad as it is and I really hate to admit it I once watched Charlie’s angels and as I was getting up to leave people were acting like “yea I’ve seen people do that backflips during a race before”

So yea there are countless people out there totally oblivious to reality so this is a Jerry bruckhiemer top gun /gays of thunder hit.

Idk about you guys but I do plan on wearing a pickup kit to the theatres for this. Jeans and an old Fox moto jersey will let everyone know that I’ve most likely raced Bennett before!

I'm with this. It looks way better than the usual garbage out of hollywood or all the made for tv movies the wife watches. If it get's someone else enjoying something dirt bike related other than myself......I don't mind a little cheese. It's a win.

You know what other movie was complete dog shit, "Dirtbike Kid". Even still, as a kid I loved the shit out of that movie, and it made me want to ride. No matter how cheesey this is, it's good for the sport. It will still inspire people to ride. Just not the already riding community. It may even spark interest in watching the sport. I wouldn't be too hard on it.

What l don't get about Hollywood and moto is that they won't make a pure moto movie because they feel there's not enough people in the niche to make it profitable but then they make a half assed, shitty looking movie that appeals to no one and then complain that moto movies are a waste of time and effort.

Just make a sincere, realistic looking moto film and see what happens guys because right now you're alienating every possible movie viewer and attracting no one.
Sounds like the video game industry.

Bennett's War will have an uphill battle beating the classic... SIDEWINDER 1. Nothing like a Maico with Motomag wheels right? The intro has more Maicos than a tour of the factory and has a Roger D clip or two. Pretty sure Bobby M is in there somewhere. Here is the full movie.

Haven't seen this in full - might just check it out. Baby Blue Maicos with Mag Wheels. Loved the colour, when I saw pics in Dirt Bike Mag, but thought the Mags were ridiculous..........

Isn't Marjo Gortner ( guarranteed I got that spelling wrong) in it?

For a while there he was in a succession of 'B' movies, a few of them MC related. There was that one, titled something like "Ride the Wild (something or other)", he was in, with William Shatner ( I think) about a group of friends doing a Baja / Desert ride and all gradually being 'deaded'. I think the final scene was a bike going off a cliff and bursting in flames?

Ah, the cheeseyness of Films with bikes in them............ Blush

I think an IOM / Real Roads Racing based mainstream movie is / was in the works.

Little Faus(sp?) and Big Halsey is the only passable MC Racing movie I can think of.

When that other moto movie came out about 10 to 15 years ago I remember we watched on the drive in outside Atlanta and they had a track there hidden in plain sight that they let people ride. The track was awesome. It was a fun night of fellow riders getting to ride the track and watch the cheesy movie.

So many cool guys here, bitching that the movie isn't "core" enough. Probably some of the same guys that complain that the purse money isn't enough...yet when there is a chance for the sport to get some exposure and more outside money, you turn your noses up?

Yeah, I don’t get it. The movie doesn’t look that bad. I guess I’m just not as core as the other Moto bros here.

I'm sure every niche 'sport' has fans that hate everything about a movie that is made with their activity. I'm sure the tuner guys hated the first 'Fast and Furious'...but look what that movie has done to 'tuning'.
