What are the nuisance items, maintenance tasks, etc that are the most annoying to you?

Mine are buying tear offs, changing lenses, and straightening out the forks after they get twisted.

Making a long drive to enjoy a track and then hitting traffic on the way home is the most annoying thing for me . Close second would be buying replacement parts from crash damage.

For me it's having to look my bikes during our miserable Indiana winters wishing I could go ride.

Also hate changing goggle lenses and putting on tear offs.

I could push the laugh emoticon button a few more times, but you probably get the point. Good one.

Used to be installing grips, but the new lock-ons solved that. Used to be cleaning air-filters, but pre-oiled ones solved that. I don't mind washing my bike, because I like the final product.

I think the most annoying thing is when I strip a bolt when I am using a torque wrench. Like, fuck.

For me its having to drive 3.5 hrs each way to a track that i consider worth riding. And the clean up after an already long ass day.

The most annoying thing is having to pay for all the stuff that gets damaged or worn. Parts, gear, boot soles, etc.

All the money spent on MX related stuff vs retiring sooner... What's that line about living while you are healthy enough to enjoy it?

I live in a townhouse without a place to wash my bike at home I have to take it to a car wash and spend $8 plus the extra loading/unloading is a pain when you ride 2 times a week.

The most annoying thing about my bike has been the lack of time to ride it- My 2015 YZ450 now has 13 hours.

Regardless, I will still hang out in the garage and stare at it..

Back in 2008/09 me and my roommate both rode and our apartment had a semi private back porch. It also had a small room for a washer and dryer on the porch, we used to store our bikes in that room. I bought an electric pressure washer (less noise) so we could wash our bikes on the concrete back porch then push them in that room. When we moved in the room only had a door knob on it, I bought a dead bolt and replaced the knob. Luckily management never did a walk through or inspection of our place the year we lived there because if they had I'm sure we would have been told to get the bikes out. It was a pain in the ass to have to push bikes around behind other peoples apartment and constantly feel like you were hiding something illegal, but we did what we had to to ride.

Here's a pic of when I had my bike in the apartment

Here's the back porch with the 5ft tall wall that blocked most peoples view of what we were doing lol

To this day it still amazes me the shit we did just to ride.
