Yes, that it's way too expensive for those national federations to send a team. Belgium barely made the trip and had to lobby to get the budget together. One person in this thread just assumed that Star paid off the person that claimed the bike since the claim was later retracted and now everyone is claiming that to be factual.

The kid is fast..he got (3)1st a 2nd and DNF that wasnt his fault. Thats impressive. Just watch his style and lines, he is on a good team ya but he deserves it.

There are a lot of idiotic theories that float around and get blindly repeated regarding US amateurs, and this seems to be the latest. The Star Yamaha amateur riders are competing against PC Kawis, HRC (FC) Hondas, Orange Brigade KTMs, Rockstar Huskys, TLD GasGas's, Rock River Yamahas, and BarX Suzukis, just like they will in the pros. These amateur team bikes are all built to about the same level, which is well built but not full factory treatment. Deegan may or may not produce as a pro, but that will be decided by talent and drive not some massive equipment...

I was Josiah's mechanic for EMX125 (Everts 125cc) and the first year of EMX250 (Red Bull KTM) and lived with him for those seasons, there is no doubt in my mind he has the talent to be at the front of any series. I still don't understand the hate some people have for Deegan. His father put him in the best position, as I am sure most fathers try to put their children in the best position. He has really been working for it and has incredible talent. I am sure when we were that age we could have said and done some of the things Haiden has done. It's a shame hypocritical fans who complain about Infront every other sentence, don't back the riders who are trying to make a point against them... This started off about mud but quickly turned into attitude and respect, and they didn't ride because of those reasons.

I gotta say, Prado has been a big disappointment. To be over 2 races behind Gajser after a handful of rounds is not good enough imo.

That last half lap was insane. 4 riders over the line within 2 seconds.
