Yes, that it's way too expensive for those national federations to send a team.

Belgium barely made the trip and had to lobby to get the budget together. Denmark, a regular in the top 10, probably won't send a team. Slovenia never was a part of the USSR. Etc.

Keep your political references for yourself, please.

Spain announced: Jorge Prado - Guillem Farres - Rubén Fernández.

If Prado and Fernández can get to their best form again, this is a very strong team.
If Prado can get things figured out, that's a pretty solid team. Fernandez is inconsistent, but when he's on, the kid hauls ass. Farres is the one I'm most curious about, though. Looking forward to seeing what he can do at Budds this weekend.

As for France, Marv's a gamer, so even being off a 250 for a long time, I think he'll do well (I think Reneaux and Ferrandis go without saying).

Latvia has selected to race. Toms Macuks, Karlis Alberts Reisulis and Karlis Sabulis to be the riders. No coments about the classes and who will be the team manager.

I wonder when Team GB will announce their team. Watson & Mewse are well off the pace. I don’t think Searle will go. Shaun Simpson might get the call. I say at least give Josh Gilbert a chance. He’s racing the last 3 Nationals anyway. MX in GB is in a very bad way at the moment.
Team GB will Searle, Anstie (MX2) and Wilson. That's the plan, at least.
I'd send Watson before Wilson. Mewse was pretty good last year too. Was good at red bud in 2018 so was Searle even though his bike was a turd.

If he’s the weak link, I’ll take it. Best Aussie team for a decade.
Now we just need to reverse that typical MXdN luck.

We might be looking at a cost thing here, Wilson is already in the US and Kawasaki have not been the most supportive of the event in recent years and there's a good chance Watson won't be with them next season anyway so they may have said there won't be equipment made available. Mewse is doing it on his own dime so would need to call in favours to get a bike.

Let's do some math.
A good day Evans is 6th in mxgp
A bad day he is 10th.
Take away the guys not going? Tiga, no bogers is prado going? He wasn't ment to.
That puts him 4-8 in mxgp. Spilt the class in half for mx1 and mxopen.
That should put him top 3-4th in his class.
Then add the ama riders chase or tomac, ferrandis, etc.
He should be 5-7 in his class.
So I think in the mx1/mx2 race that should put him about 7-9. And in the m1/mxopen race about 9-11. Let's see how those predictions go come mxon

Agreed, I’m actually a bit more worried about Jett’s 450 debut. Hell of an introduction to the big boy class.
I just hope he has a solid ride, doesn’t need to be flashy.

He rides a lot like Sexton, so I think it will be a really smooth transition for him.

I think Jett will ride the 450 great . But having him ride the 450 instead of the 250 is about the biggest FAIL in the history of mxon. If he rode the 250 he might be able to get a great result on it . Say he gets a 3rd overall in the race . Winning the 250 class . Cooper could be second in 250 but back in 10 th overall that s huge ! . They have basically threw away the best chance they have ever had to win the race .

I think Hunter is very capable of finishing high on the 250 too though. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him finish top 3 overall.

Considering he’s won the 250 class at MXdN before……..

I don't know. Teams might have the option to skip it. The last time it was used was in 2019 and before that was 2016.
