So...how do you think Adam Cianciarulo will do in the upcoming Outdoor 250 season? Will he let the crushing loss of the SX title get to him to the point where his performance is way less than what he's capable of? Or, will he rally...put all that behind him, and show all the fans who love him & Mitch Payton that has invested largely in him for so long what he's made of?

Personally...and I'm a big AC fan, but I don't see domination. I do see him being a real threat for the title just because I think Adam has grown emotionally as well as physically in the last couple of years. I won't predict the ultimate outcome...but at the very least, I expect him to be on the box more often than not.

I think his size hurts him outdoors more than we'd think.

Knowing he had the SX championship in the bag lying 3rd & to me it looked like he wanted to stamp it with a win to show both East & West coasts he's the boss ,pushing it too much & crashing will only multiply his mistakes outdoors.
I hope I'm wrong the more in the title hunt outdoors the better for us fans

Good night! That is skin and bones! AC apears little more “filled out” than 160 but I guess not. With the intense training year around, lean weight to add..... the immune system has to be working in over drive!

AC is one of the favorites for the title and should be on Team USA at MXDN.

I don't see him winning, he has not been very impressive out doors. He will have to keep his mental errors to a minimum to even be close to the top step

AC is my favorite 250 rider currently on the gate. I want him to win so badly because he seems like a genuine person on and off the track.

I really hope I'm wrong but I think the pattern of Adam being his own worst enemy and buckling under pressure is hard to ignore, and I kind of think it will keep occurring, even though I don't want it to. The anxiety he experiences when in those high pressure situations must be incredible...

Justin Cooper is my pick for the outdoors but I want AC to be the one with the #1 plate come Ironman.

At seasons end:
1. Justin Cooper
2. AC
3. Ferrandis or Sexton

GO AC!!!

AC won’t be able to run with Ferrandis and Lawrence. 3-5 whole season

Top 5 for sure, and probably top 3. Definitely a title threat.

How can you fix mental problems in two weeks? He will always be fast with a side of recklessness. He has a long career because he is fast.

Last time he rode the nationals he finished the season 3rd overall behind JMart and ZachO

To be fair, that thread was basically laughed off of the forum.... and we are finding out that it wasn't the craziest thing ever posted. Calling for him to win the title in 2018 was a little far fetched, but he finished 3rd overall which lots people (myself included) didn't see coming.

That's what I was thinkin' too.

I would bet on Ferrandis and Cooper to be ahead of AC in the final series points if all three make it through without injury.

With AC's track record for not completing a series, I might even think Martin earns more points too.

He has only 2 podiums for his entire outdoor career so I don't see why he is a favorite?

Three
Thunder Valley 2015 , 3rd
Buds Creek 2017 , 1st
Ironman 2017 , 2nd
He's getting better year by year, except 2018 no show
But time is running out

Yeah, but I still believe the two little guys would of had him covered if they made it through the season.

That being said I don’t think size is a real factor.

Man, I love AC, but I don't know if he's ready for the MXDN yet. That seems like a pressure on a an entirely different level. He would need to dominate outdoors before I would even consider putting him on that list. Maybe I'm wrong, but that kid has experienced enough heartbreak lol.. Hasn't he been through enough!?

I think we could see 6 different winners in this series.

Crazy to think that between AC and Forkner they have zero championships andonly 2 or 3 outdoor wins.

I hope you're right. I want to see a nail-biter all the way to Ironman rather than one guy just managing his points lead.

AC will be a front runner. He might throw it away at some point but he’ll be up front

On the planet? He wouldn't be able to see Prado after the first turn.
During Supercross i already felt like ferrandis had more speed, just started poorly except for 2 races.
I'm with those guys in this thread:
1 Ferrandis
2 Cooper/Lawrence
3 Ac

He wasn’t pushing.. did you watch the race?
He was comfortable running the pace and had it under control until the mistake.
Only he knows what happened but it definitely wasn’t a case of him pushing too hard and trying to go for the win.. maybe backing it down a bit too much and loss of concentration led to mistake with 3 minutes to go. (smh)

Outdoors will be interesting. He won a race in 2017 but was never a guy that could make moves and break away from everyone. I think he will get 3rd overall in series. I’d like to see him win !

I like Ferrandis' odds better, but AC is a title contender I believe. It will be close. I'd love to see AC win it because he's a good dude and because of the heartbreaking end to his sx season. His inability to keep it on two wheels consistently enough is my only concern. His speed and talent is plenty good enough for the title, but.... We will see.
