I gotta say, hearing the crowd go absolutely nuts for Tomac all night was pretty damn cool. I'm not much of a Tomac fan but regardless of how you feel about the guy that was a really special night, love seeing that kind of stuff.

Very special for him I am sure. You could see it by his reaction.

You can't help but feel excited also when that happens. Great night for Eli.

He’s never taken anyone out and is a good dude. Don’t see how anyone can dislike him. That place was packed too.

That was great for him.

Loved how he played it up for the crowd last lap, a lost art.

I use to love when MC would wheelie by the mechanics area on the last lap. I got flashbacks of that seeing Eli wheelie down the straight. That was cool. Cool

It was comparable to a concert performance, the crowd was stomping their feet and cheering him as he passed by each section. I felt lucky to be there and experience it in person.
Not even an Eli swinger, but it gave me chills hearing how loud that stadium was tonight. Must admit, feeling pretty proud as a Colorado native watching the local boy put on a show. Glad to see this thread, confirmed my suspicions that this was an epic night. Bravo Eli!

He was certainly half hearted when others would've punted Dungey into the cheap seats during their last race championship duke out. Not sure Dungey saw it that way though!

He is the author of my absolute favorite takeout. The Wilson one was epic “you started it, I’ll finish it”

I was there. It was amazing! Last night was similar and cool to watch even though I’m pulling for Webster

Dw15 incident was instigated by wilson. Webb at daytona instigated by webb cross jumping.

Eli is clean, its why i like him. Hes a good dude, he rides fast and trains hard.

Eli is one of the greats. He has left some on the table though but I think it is that way with all of them. There is no reason to think he can't get another 25 wins over the next three years.

He could be sixth all time by the end of the year if he finishes supercross strong and has a solid outdoor season. Crazy.
