Roczen and Tomac should have gained the position and points. They got robbed. As did the fans. Unless Webb has a DNF, he's unbeatable. Gotta admire him for that. Like Dungey he somehow manages to make the best of a bad night. Bit of luck. But he puts himself in position to take the most of these opportunities.
Pit Row
Seems legit. Not.
Shaking my head....
Here is the rule change explained, and the sentence is consistent, so I have no complain, just bummed;

Personally I am mad too because 7 points is a lot. There is so much technology these days that this info could be easily transmitted to the helmets, which is the most important as it would be safer for the attended rider and the medical crew.
Also, the previous rule was a bit less strict, When Dungey got penalized (well it was a differention situation too), he got docked 2 spots, so 5 points. At the end of the championship 2 points can be big, even if it is just to keep applying the pressure. https://racerxonline.com/2016/03/19/ryan-dungey-penalized-jason-anderso…
For your info, he was the first to come on the incident, so maybe if you lead a 450 sx race you watch your lines more than anything, especially when you know the track crew often wave yellow flags everywhere for no reason. It was a mistake, but it costs him a lot of points !!!
And i have one thing to say about Marvin getting the "win". Have you all forgot the absolute outrage that came from when they took a win from Dungey when he jumped on the red cross flag? That is probably the reason why they have decided to go with this penalty the last couple of years.
Heats were so good and the mains a bit of a snooze -- until this drama. Which turned out to be a snooze too.
Whoop Monster Wilson was a highlight.
