My chick got me a goggle bag for Christmas. Didn’t need it but man it sure is nice to keep all my goggles and lenses in one spot and protected.

My wife surprised me with a Baja no pinch tire tool and a tire changing stand and it is one of the best gifts ever and pretty cheap. Change tires effortlessly in no time. Really works so great. I was already a master tire changer since I was 12 but this makes it effortless.

I decided to freshen up my '16 250xc this year rather than buy a new bike.
I bought a full set of white plastics and full set of graphics/numbers. Certainly not something I needed but I'm stoked to have a unique looking bike.

Bluetooth speaker
propane grill
sag tool would be awesome
heart rate monitor
lap time app or lit pro
custom wheels/hubs
roll around tool box/cart

Im often by myself at the track and listen to music / podcasts in between motos, I finally bought a pair of airpods and oh my goodness, they make listening to tunes at the track, in the garage, washing the bike, etc. so much easier. Plus of course anywhere else, gym, etc. Not exactly moto specific but saw mention of a bluetooth speaker.

A hitch hauler for your bike. I have a perfectly fine truck bed but the hitch is so much easier to load a 450 after youre tired as hell from riding.

Spoke Torque Wrench - I could probably get by with a normal wrench, but this takes all the guess work out of it. It's now part of my maintenance ritual on my bikes to check spoke torque.

If your hands get beat up easily I'd recomend a set of blister gloves. You wear them under your race gloves and man they work awesome! I've had a few sets from MSR and Moose. Other riders often joke around with me about them but hell I'll take that anyway if that means I can ride more.

I'm a bit of a toolaholic. I have the spring tool and a nice gas jug already lol. Only tools I actually don't have are stuff like case spreaders. I do all my own mechanic work except for the bottom end so most of that is handled. Got good chairs, a new canopy, basic stand, track tool box, ect. Which is why I'm looking for more outside the box kind of things. And yes hopefully something that will last long term.
The Pro motion sag tool is handy AF. All my buddies borrow it at the track....Safety wire pliers, 5 extra tire irons, spoke torque wrench....

Another vote for the jack up stand. Makes life so much easier when you can raise the bike up to your level.

Appreciate the response but it furthers my problem as I have most of those things. I have a sag tool(but not the slacker lol) air pump, heart rate chest strap with Garmin watch, ect lmao. I don't have much any interest in a lit pro honestly. Cool technology not not my thing. It's getting hard to think outside the box ?. Keep the suggestions coming.

Scissor lift with wheels so you don't have to pick it up to move it!

These first world problems are awesome! I totally get wanting to get something that you wouldn't normally purchase. One year for my birthday my wife got me a used glass display case to put trophies and mx memorabilia in. It is certainly a luxury item I would have never purchased.
Other ideas:
* custom painted helmet

I managed to overlook this post and saw it quoted on the next page. The rinse kit looks cool but shows it's $99.99 on the website for the 2 gallon but out of stock and it's $250 on Amazon? What gives? They have a sale or something? I'm actually pretty interested in this.

I'll second this. Takes the guess work out of it.

Another to add to the list, I bought one these two years ago. Not sure if they are still available.

Just ordered a few of these. Thanks for the heads up!

IDK how the knowledge of this has slipped by me all this time.

My understanding on these is that they're great for new/newer bikes where the spokes should turn freely... but if the bike is aged and the spokes are a bit "stuck in their ways", then the tool isn't nearly as valuable as it would be for a new bike.

Another sweet tool for the shop that's worth it's weight in gold when you need it: blind bearing puller kit!

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/989/20342/Tusk-Bearing-Remover

Two of my favorite tools in the shop: compressed air! Love using the gun to blow debris away from parts before servicing them; also great for after you get done washing the bike, as it displaces all the water in the nooks and crannies. Also, LOVE my heat gun for warming up fuel lines and any other lines before removal/installation. I've even used it on a tire when changing it on a cold day

Here's another one... PARTS WASHER!!! I found a 40gal one on Craigslist near me, and I use the shit out of it in the garage. Installed a heater for it - thing is money!!

They are handy especially if you ride and race woods, pit crew/dad could keep it with him in case it's needed. . I kept extra
gloves, medical tape and whatnot in there too.

oh oh... freaking love this Motion Pro shock spanner punch tool. Makes adjusting the preload for sag super easy, and doesn't gouge the shit out of your collars like a flat blade screwdriver does... pretty cheap and SUPER handy, just like most Motion Pro tools

https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0483-Shock-Spanner/dp/B004LV2VH4/r…

also, the Motion Pro funnel with on/off valve... allows you to put in the exact amount of CC's/ounces/etc per your needs
