My personal experience with bad engineering/poor build quality over the years and at the time when they were current bikes and when common faults were not known or easy to fix: Honda CRFs (had 2012 as 450 and 250). Yeah, but, you gotta ask, how does it effect performance, looking like something else? If the design base is good, use it for inspiration. There's only so many design configurations possible in our bikes engines, this is one that works. Run with it. Let's welcome a new player, rather than shitting on everything they do. Most comments here are negative, from children. Grow up, Triumph is having a bit of fun, let 'em have it. Next, let's see the USA build a bike! Congrats to the Brits for stepping up to the plate, best of luck to them!

Mine has a VHM head, V Force reed block and a HGS pipe. It runs perfectly and is a match for any other 250 two stroke.

I agree with this. I'm 26 years old, work 50 hours a week, own a house, married, and have my first child on the way. Needless to say I've got bills to pay. There's no way in hell I'm hucking a giant triple step down or a do or die gap jump like I used to in my teens. MX tracks piss me off to the point where I don't even want to ride them anymore with all these stupid jumps. I like a big jump here and there, but they should be forgiving. Like step ups, tables, or doubles...

Incredible event as usual. So good to have it back and with things back to normal. Any news on the injured people from Saturday’s incident? Saw the whole thing happen - a CR500 on full throttle cartwheeling into spectators is a scary thing indeed.
