Pretty sure it's a PulpMX thing. Blose crashed his brains out and still got up and finished. Mathes kept saying, "Blose was dead, that must be a zombie out there riding"..

He got tangled up in a second turn crash off the start and was hit by another rider. He has severe chest injuries and brain damage but no word on the severity of the brain trauma. He underwent surgery Sun evening and will go under again today for the chest injures and hopefully close him up as the swelling around the chest was to severe to close him after the initial surgery. They are going to also try and wake him up tonight. My thoughts go out to his family and friends as, according to his mums FB post earlier...

You get a decent amount for that $13000. That being said, people who are adding up the retail cost of the parts list and slapping it onto the price of a standard KX to show the value, is not accurate at all. You paid for the standard exhaust, forks, shock etc on your standard KX for that $9500. And they have some value. So you would have to deduct the cost of those parts from the SR to really have an accurate number there.

If they hire him as a marketing gimmick, that's one thing. (And by gimmick I don't mean to bash what he is doing, he appears to be making a decent living with the gig that he has developed!!!!!) But for actual racing, usually the process is that you give 100% THEN get the good ride, not get the good ride and promised that you will up your effort to 100%. So I doubt that, from a racing perspective, he gets an official ride with a top team. But to be honest he would probably have to take a pretty serious...

I can honestly say that I have tried to listen to the C&C podcasts with an open mind, but those clowns are so stuck on trying to explain to everyone how awesome that they are and how no one in the world, let alone the industry, can understand anything as well as they can. It just seems like the both of them must have gotten picked on a lot as kids and have no real self esteem so they have to keep talking about themselves to try to artificially build it up in their heads.

Next year they will have Ferrandis, Tomac, and Plessinger on 450s in supercross and add Craig to that list for outdoors. Meanwhile the other teams typically continue with the tradition of 1 elite guy and 1 support type rider. If something happens to the top rider on those teams the whole operation effectively goes up in smoke. The tractor trailers, engine and suspension testing, countless crew members, test tracks, all that is for nothing because the #2 rider really isn’t all of a sudden going to be in position to carry the team.
