So, I have a cheaper direct tv package, I get nbcsn, but I can’t find the NBC channel, will the NBC rounds televise on another channel? Or do I need to upgrade.

Does this app work on fire stick or do I need to buy the more expensive fire TV?
It works on the Fire Stick.

Or, at least it did for MX the past 2 years.

Great news! My personal need for cable with the GPs and all the AMA stuff online is zero.

In order to watch the Qualifying you have to get the Gold App pass?

Don't you need to get your local NBC station with an antenna with direct TV?

Just bought the combined SX and Moto pass for the new year (had MX since the service went on); probably would not have bought the SX package alone, but the combo price was right.

Absolutely ridiculous!

I have $$ and want to give it to them to watch but I cannot. I'm stuck with garbage Bell Expresvu that hasn't had SX for 10 years.

They let us have the GoldApp for MX but NOT for SX?? WTF!

Great news and huge improvement. Thank you Feld & MXsports. Just signed up for the combo package. $89 for every round of SX and MX live and archived. Use the phone app and Smartview/Chromecast/etc and watch it on your big screen in 1080p! Life is good.

I bought the YouTube tv for $40 a month which had fs, fs1 and fs2 plus has nbcsn as well as cbs sports for the gp s. You can stream anywhere on your smartphone, iPad etc. If you have a smart tv like Samsung you can also watch the live streams or record, no limit on saving to the cloud. With that said, I think I will still get the gold pass because I don’t get fuel tv and always buy it for mx, good deal for supercross package. 90 bucks I’m in.

I have zero problem paying the 90 bucks for the Sx/MX, had the gold app for 2 years and it’s worked great. The problem is FS1 was part of your standard package with most cable and satellite providers, NBCSN is not. You usually have to purchase a sports tier to get it. My point being that you probably just lost the casual fan and how does that make the sport grow.

Well , it looks pretty good to me. We have some good option's and so forth to watch. I think I'll probably just stick with the normal NBCSN channel , instead of getting the gold. Only 3 rounds I believe are delayed? They usually have so much fluff in between the races anyways , and on the gold app....what the heck woould I do besides sit there and wait?
I count 6 races, or 35%, delayed:
Anaheim 2
Oakland
Detroit
Indianapolis
Nashville
East Rutherford

For those of you saying that this is an improvement, consider the following scenario:

2018- You pay for a streaming service, or cable TV, in order to watch live TV. One example being Sling TV at $40/month, which includes FS1 and FS2. With this subscription alone you're watching every race live on Saturday nights.

2019- In order to watch each race live you must now buy the gold pass (or Feld pass) no exceptions. This would obviously be on top of any tv streaming/cable you choose to keep, assuming you watch anything other than moto.

Am I missing something here?

Feld/NBC lining their pockets. Simple as that.

As long as the coverage is good and they don't cut away for a million commercials than I'm ok with it

The finale in Vegas is also tape delayed. In theory the most important race of the year is tape delayed. ?

People on the Racer X Facebook announcement are going off about it. Not happy.

Here on Vital, it’s a hardcore fan group, that will most likely pay the money to have the Gold App and watch live. But the casual fan that tips the scales For sponsorship are not going to buy an add on subscription.

Less viewers=less sponsors=less rides=less competition=less viewers.

According to the details of their press release, Vegas will be aired live on NBCSN, then replayed the following day on the main NBC network.

The casual fan won't care that some of Saturday night's racing is delayed by an hour. They won't even know it's delayed.

On the sports gold app are you able to start watching at a later time in the night from the beginning of the show? And then catch up by fast forwarding through the breaks?

That's another thing I'm curious of, will there be any coverage during TV commercials on the gold pass like in moto? Or will it just go to break?

I bought the package deal. I buy the outdoor package anyway so adding the Supercross doesn’t add that much more. Like someone else mentioned it is about about the price of going to one round. If I can’t watch live I can watch them whenever I want.
