Herlings was right or Did I watch a different race than You. It was not even herlings But half of the European riders who were in front of team usa. And then dont forget the usa is So much bigger than all of the European countries. USA has over 325 million people and the Netherlands only 17 million. Just imagine if they could chose from so many riders.

The highly ironic part of your statement is that if the Dutch would have chosen three Dutch riders they most likely win.
Probably you don´t know how it works. Boggers had to setp up to MXGP. Pootjes has been more times injured. Vaessen is not at the same level of Vlaanderen.
Ferrandis and Plessinger are not too old for a 250?.

Herlings and Paulin were disrespectful of their hosts. I cringed both times. There is a difference to being a bad-ass and being disrespectful.

I'm a bit late here and didn't bother reading through every page, but I just have to say that if you call Herlings an arrogant punk it shows just how much you have really followed him during the last 5-6 years. He isn't 16 years old anymore. His comment was pointed at people like some vitards here that are now making this thread to a 10+ pager. The same people that would be ecstatic had Tomac won and said he smoked Herlings.

Hahahah give me a break princess, do you know how much shit they got given leading to this race? I can only imagine the amount of shit they copped from the crowd too, to the USA crowds credit no bottles were thrown at them.

Do you think Herlings would have said what he said without abuse from your crowd? He knows it everyone who watches both series with an open mind knows it that he is the best, so he gave it to you.

Remember all the sandbagging talk about Herlings in 250s? Most weekends he was doing quicker lap times than the 450 class on a MX track.

Maybe Tomac is sandbagging in the AMA? just joking.

Herlings is the CHAMP. He behaves like the champ and wants everybody to know. We saw the future when Prado was in front. We saw Herlings for a moment. Herlings didn´t like that and he went for the boy no matter what. And Prado is not much better. We still have to wait but when the day comes, it´s going to be epic.

If there is one arrogant, respectless dickhead, it was Plessinger before the race even started.

The thing is.. his comment was not directed to any of the U.S riders. He knows what they are capable of. It was directed to the thousand of people commenting on his instagram everyday saying he will get smoked. It was freaking everywhere. I guess he was sick of hearing it.

Aaron Plessinger: Obviously Herlings is killing it over there right now. In the 250 class they have some really good guys but I think Ferrandis was battling with Herlings over there before he came over here and he is honestly the only guy that I see as a really big threat.

Haha so the narrative about Herlings being a dick is back by the people that doesn't even follow him and his racing. Listen to MX Vice post race podcasts after every GP and you'll have a really, really difficult time to call Herlings a dick. He has matured the last couple of years, the 16-17 year old Herlings is gone.

Ferrandis only battled Herlings when he was far from 100% after injurys. Ferrandis never had anything for Herlings. Dont't come with a youtube link where he had, there are plenty the opposite

"We smashed the americans" Dude is a dickhead.

Damn wish RC, RV and stewie were still racingSad

He would have beaten rc, rv and stew as well, sure they dominated in their time but they were slower than the top dudes today. No one have ever been as fast as herlings is, no mxer has ever been as strong. Look at the way he treats the 450 like it is a fucking 85cc and carves new lines like no one else in the world would ever even try to do pure strenght and insane skills. Sure tomac, a 100% gajser and cairoli + maybe marv are close and could win on some tracks but if we had a 100rd championship with just them in it and with different tracks, conditions and all over the world i have a hard time believing that herlings would have won less than 75-80rds of them. Tomac could be as fast, he just needs to stop overthinking shit and stop counting on being fast by just railing outside lines 90% of every corners because that wont work on most tracks in the world except for some national tracks and some sand tracks.

there is no doubt in my mind if RC was in his prime right now he would be beating herlings. No doubt. No one works harder than RC. No one.

Just listen to what rc did say about herlings in the race. How he goes trough corners etc etc. That says it all. Mxgp/open

Herlings.lives 24/7 for the sport. So again just bs talk bringin in some riders from the past.

Watch how paulin flies by roczen like he was a amateur.. talking about speed difference.

Herlings vs Ferrandis
112 MX2 GP motos against eachother.
Herlings beat Ferrandis in 106 of them.

Poor Plessinger, given all that false hope and confidence!

It hurts more when its the truth.. I wished they would have talked more shit we deserve anything and everything they say about us maybe the riders will take it to heart a little more.. Maybe light a fire under some ones ass to do something about getting stomped year in and year out.. Its disappointing we go from winning them to barely making the top 10 overalls

No disrespect to Ferrandis but he hardly ever battled Herlings in MX2, the odd race possibly on very rare occassions as st Anne More says above! Searle did battle abit but Herlings was still very young then and Tommy not so.
Roczen I think is the only person who beat him on a consistent basis in MX2.

No one from the GPs would ever talk down to a US rider or any rider. They have huge respect for the US rider and now how skilled they are. They are always foghting for the win!

The things that herlings mentioned and a little bit by Paulin is not aimed to the riders. Its aimed to the fans bombarding herlings on every post and Paulin aimed for the fans AND media who has throwing shit at the france federation ever since he picked out the french team.

No excuses for the USA, we got beat this weekend plain and simple. Every rider raced the same track at Red Bud. Maybe we just need to be over there racing the MXGP races instead. Here is a thought, why not just have one Motocross World Championship. It would be a MXON every race!!! Money and greed would never allow that in our sport. SX is a show, but it brings in more money than the Outdoor Nationals. The USA puts so much more focus on SX, we are loosing in the real sport of motocross. It proved that this weekend. When Windham can run similar times to our riders in qualifying after 5 years of retirement and only 6 weeks to prepare, that is great for Windham, but not so good for our USA riders.
