Have you guys watched interviews of RC, RV, and Stew? They were not a bunch of PC fan boys of their competitors. They were insulted by the mere thought of another rider even hanging with them. The USA\AMA riders need to sack up and start riding with a chip on their shoulder. This is racing not circle jerking.

After beating the top AMA riders last weekend in both moto's, and going 1 - 1 in the MXGP class at the motocross of nations against the current AMA national champ, and winning 17 out of the 19 MXGP races I've raced, standing on the podium 19 out of the 19 times this season, being crowned to the 2018 MXGP world champion, winning the Dutch national title with even going undefeated, I think I am able to say I was the fastest outdoor racer on the planet in 2018. Ofcourse I did not win all moto's I participated at, but I am only human aswell. But I have won 62 moto's out of the 77 moto's where I participated at this season. Everything will start all over again next year. Thank you 2 0 1 8 you was amazing to me. Now let's go eat hamburgers and drink some beers for a few weeks. ? I met him more than once, amd he is a very relaxed and friendly guy. Takes time to make pictures with kids, answer questions and gives autographs. Nothing arrogant about the guy.
He justy tells the truth and doesn't sum up his sponsors like a robot in a postrace interview, he's human!

In the past I thought JH84 was a bit too cocky while he was decimating the MX2 class, but he has rightfully earned the FMOTP title in 2018 and the spoils that come along with it.

To those butthurt by it, grab some Preparation H and a nice doughnut pillow because his entire focus is on this one discipline and I do not see his reign ending anytime soon.

Great- a big "butthurt" thread to whine about Herlings speaking the truth. He's rubbing it in because of the severe talent difference between US and American riders.
Emig had to close out the whole broadcast with a little dig about the US winning six in a row, responding to Herlings' podium speech. That was even more embarrassing. Emig couldn't even let the winning team bask in their glory for a minute without a little USA plug.

They did smoke us. Our top guys spend so much of their time on a supercross track that our outdoors speed is slipping compared to those that run the gp's and moto moto moto.

Roczen I think is the only person who beat him on a consistent basis in MX2.

As we see literally every single year the top rookies tend to have ups and downs. It's year two where we start to see if they can put it all together.
Yep, exactly it was as you describe and yes, Herlings was the rookie out of the two regarding Roczen, when Roczen beat him. For sure took Herlings a year or so and Roczen left anyway, then Herlings took over.
Amazing young talents really- now Prado is emulating it seems!
