AK74 Started a new thread WTB: Oakley half-mask

I’m hunting an Oakley O-Frame half-mask in black or white. Used is fine, as long as the pillars which attach to goggle are all intact. I can’t find my box of retro goggle following a house move, and the half-mask is needed for a project. I’m in the UK, and if anyone in the US has one but doesn’t want...

The MX ‘family’ in the UK is off the rails. Drug taking, even at youth events is rife. Parents sat around a campfire on Saturday nights sniffing coke, absolutely shit-faced. Delivering their kids to the start line pissed, with a beer in one hand and a spliff in the other. It’s a fucking embarrassment. These people are the dregs of society. Worst of all, because they have these drink/drug issues, very often their child is subject to mental (sometimes physical) abuse if they don’t ride well. Believe me, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve witnessed it. The weekend of...

Brampton. Knockhill. Boltby. Epic tracks used for Brit Nationals back in the dinosaur days. Everyone who posts here would have loved to turn laps on all three .

More progress done on the '87 YZ250. My first attempt at powder coating. It came out amazing! I'm very happy with the results. I had a few tiny issues though. The bottom steering stem plug that I made fell out during the cure and landed right in front of a heat gun. It started to smoke so I panicked and opened the oven up to get it out. Then the sides of the oven started to fold inward and they rubbed the powder off of the edges of the footpeg mounts. Next time I will build a slightly wider oven...

Built the powder coat oven today. I used 2 sheets of insulating board from Lowes and 1 roll of tin tape. The tape is VERY important. I got the idea from "Chase builds bikes" on YouTube. I built 2 small wooden ends that rest on the side to support the weight of the frame/bar assembly. It's about 40lbs total. I got 2 heat guns for $65 on Amazon. Today I gassed the frame out. That means you heat it up fairly high to get any residue off of it. Next weekend I will powder coat it. Can't wait! The oven...

Project “Ballin-on-a-Budget” 2022 KTM SXF350 Just wanted to share and show off this passion project of mine. Been wanting a new bike but didn’t want to buy a 23+ as I really like the 19-22 chassis. So I decided to make her new again. Engine: Full rebuild with OEM piston kit, ProX conrod and minor clean up head porting. Vapor blasted cases, cylinder, head. Engine had 142 hours on it and had been untouched internally. I’ve been amazed of the robustness and durability of these Austrian bikes. I’ve been running these 350 and 450’s to 150 hours without any issues...
