I started racing Motocross in 1980 and have never stopped. Raced on Long Island, in NY,NJ,PA,New England and once in a while Florida in the winter. Turned expert in 1986.Caught the vintage bug in the early 90's when it was just getting started and now have 11 bikes. Today I try to race a couple times a year with ACR vintage/evolution MX in the north east and modern at Englishtown NJ. I saved a lot stuff from all those years and after donating some items to and seeing the Primm collection.I want to do something like Greg Primm did with my bikes and memorabilia. I recently started a website dedicated to a now gone great MX track that was on Long Island. Crude right now, I hope to make many impovments with the help of other racers who once raced there. www.bridgehamptonliscmotocross.com

I had to make a removable inner fender, bracket to be able to get a air box in and out of the frame.

Those OEM’s have been making MX bikes for about 60 years. Kove has been doing it for only a few. I think it’s good they didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. If they truly want to be a player in the pro ranks and be taken seriously they will continue to develop and improve. Or they will go by wayside. Cool thing is we get to sit back and watch.

A lot to do with the employers too. I have been at my job for 11 years. I am close to 2 months late for my annual review. I get my bonus at this time as well. This happens every year, they don't think it is a big deal.

I'm not gonna glaze china here, but they are starting to get high quality manufacturing dialed. We are in trouble in the USA and it's not just because they abuse their workers. If you have ever worked in the auto industry in the US it's not hard to understand why and how this is happening. People at every level do not take their jobs seriously and do the bare minimum. Even assuming the quality were the same as Japanese bikes, which I very highly doubt, I prefer to make purchases (especially larger dollar examples like this) from a democratic nation that does not threaten and harass its neighbors and lock up its citizens in what are essentially re-education camps. (And yes, I'm aware the US government removed Japanese Americans from their homes on the west coast after Pearl Harbor. It was wrong then, and I believe now almost universally accepted as a grievous mistake on the part of our government, made during the hysteria following the attack on Hawaii).

Making all the little parts takes time, allot of time. So when i am set up to make a hard to find part i make seveal copies. so if anyone is looking for these type of parts let me know.
