If you read between the lines, maybe it has something to do with Malcolm coming back and taking Barcia's Honda contract.
What contract? You're talking crazy talk now.

I never said that he was done. Just that im skeptical that his results will improve vs where he previously places in SX on a very similar machine. I thought he looked good on the honda. I would have picked him over some other guys on hondas but im not a team manager.
Shut up, you damn hater.

Honda and Barcia just go together, but I'm happy he got ride. Hope it works out.

Just wondering where everyone heard about this. I haven't seen an announcement or anything anywhere other than this thread. Certainly could have overlooked it or missed it but the way OP made it sound, made it sound like it was common knowledge and surprising it hasn't been posted here yet.

Not saying it isn't true, I have no idea.

Reed put that bitch on the box. Why would Barcia not beable too? I️ would venture to say that a factory Yamaha would be better than a privateer Honda even of the caliber of Barcias.

According to the Yamaha press release there is no news of a rider change. Either the egg hasn't hatched yet or it's

FAKE NEWS?

It's funny how this forum sometimes causes press releases. Na, couldn't be related.

Actually no they are closer now than ever. Certain parts are for sure different but its not night and day anymore.

Just watch, the blue tank and Barcia are going to move Tomac out of the way a few times.

Davi's still a "?" at this point, meaning he's probably not lining up, meaning Barcia is probably getting that ride

Davi's crash was really bad, he was out cold for close to about 8min. Then the operation he had was also not straight forward in terms of just putting it all back together.

Sure he can ride dirty at times but if half the haters talked to Barcia face to face they wouldnt hate on him anymore, he is down to earth and easy to talk to. We have had a decent amount of pros race our little supercross at the Marshfield fair in Massachusetts. Barcia was one of the most respectful and appreciative we ever had. Shook our hands and thanked us after the races. On the other hand theres a current yamaha rider that was a bit of a punk at our race but im not going to bash him on social media. Now in true Vital fashion i will get bashed by posers, pit turkeys, wannabes and squids for posting this.....

I could not agree more.

He seems to have worked through his burnout issues. He just needs to land on a good team to take off again. A great fill-in ride would do the trick.

Glad he's got a ride if true. I'd have liked to see him on a Honda and with some serious motivation.

I wander if the new bike will suit him more but more than anything he probably just needs to stay healthy.

How could he win on a Honda? Weren't their last titles from Jerry mcgerph and that red headed kid ten years ago?

The championship febre bike wasn't that far off the us bike

If anyone thinks the us teams feel obligated to follow the production rules I think your nuts.
It's just a feel good rule. Should be called the "looks close to production" rule.

Like the "stock pipe class" at amateurs in the Ponca days where dads would take their mod bike, a stock pipe and silencer, and go In the trailer and swap pipes between classes.

If this is true, congratulations! Will be cool to see him on the new bike. Looking forward to A1.

I don't think he has had the operation yet because of the complications with the concussion. If I was a betting man, I'd bet Davi will miss tje entire year.

That is terrible news for Davi. Good for Barcia and I'm sure he is aware that he has to put up some results with this turn of good fortune. It is a factory ride after all. Would love to see him back into the mix in around the top five battling for podiums. He has proven himself worthy of this expectation-good luck to him.

So now lets say he does well this time around on the Yamaha under the Factory Yamaha tent.. Hopefully that doesn't throw shade at JGR.
