He's done with SX, the GP's has a lot of travelling which I don't think he wants any part of and Husky in the US already have Anderson.
At the stage he's at in his career why not send him to Canada where things are more laid back, the schedule is not as taxing on the body, make a pretty good living racing 3 months out of the year?
It's a win win situation for both Husky and Pourcel.
That would solve our Matthes problem.
And welcome back to Vital.

no one from pulpmx or matthes has ever reached out or come by for a interview ever. we will see after this summer what i will do racing in the future, but i did announce my retirement from professional racing in supercross in the US. Bobby Hewitt quickly made all this racing in Canada possible for me as a transition into full retirement. the goal is not to find a factory ride in the US or GP at that level again. with my neck injuries i cannot continue racing US supercross at the highest level. i do all of my interviews and like to do them by email (i did one for JT a few years ago). so then no one can change what i say, it has happened many times to me before when my english wasn't that good. my wife takes care of a lot of stuff with my racing, media, sponsors, teams, so if its not on a race weekend she is the person to contact for me and she responds to everyone.
ps: racing in canada has been amazing for me
hope that helps

^^Edit: Good luck this summer CP^^

It's going long...the receiver's reading for it...
TOUCH DOWN!
It's weird how little throttle I hear out of your bike, yet you go so fast.
It's weird how you look slow and steady but you're absolutely hauling so much ass.
It's weird how you live your life and make the best out of the hand you've been given, yet so many folks want you to be someone else, that fits their own ideals.
It's weird how you could come out and put your name at the very top of timed practice week after week against the best Supercross riders in the entire planet, at the most intense pace that has ever existed, after being in a wheelchair, on white bike, with a 3 digit number, and still have anyone mention your name in vain.
This is fan talk. I'm a motocross fan. This is how we talk, in case any of you pro riders were disheartened by the jokers who speak otherwise...

Thumbs up to CP for clarifying, great move. Enjoy !
I sure hope he got some stocks!
You are wrong
Then about a year ago Tim Ferry texted me and asked why I never interview CP, I mean you, and I said I would be happy to. I guess my name had come up when you were riding with Ferry or something. It was relayed to me that it could only be done by email to which I refused because I don't do interviews that way. This was Timmy's text to me so he could have made it all up but I doubt it.
If CP, I mean you, don't want your words to be "changed" then I would say that doing an audio interview is the ONLY way your words cannot be changed.
The invitation to do a one on one podcast or on the Pulpmx Show is always there and I told Ferry that.
I've heard CP speak good English many, many times and if Ron-Ron, DV, AC222 can give me interviews and it sound perfectly fine, I know he can also.
Is this a touchdown? No?
Thanks for info CP and good luck for rest of serie in Canada.
