Other than that, a full gate of 125's right after the gate drops.
Nothing on the RSV4 with full titanium Austin Racing pipe
NICE!!!! Yeah those and the Tuono's do have that certain something.

Speaking of V4's, have you heard the current generation "big bang" RC16 engine? OH BOY!!!

Not in person, but I imagine they sound amazing, I was never a big fan of the RC8s the quality and speed just wasn't there compared to its competition.
The V4s have such an aggressive distinct sound I keep debating p/x my bmw just so I can listen to that soundtrack haha.

Have to agree on the RMZ450.

Remember beeing at 2013 MXDN in Germany and listening to one of the japanese teamriders. He had a factory Suzuki with some special yoshimura system and it sounded so cool ! Deep, throthy..with a nice bark. Cant really describe it...just amazing !

I am mostly a 2 smoker guy anymore but I think it was a 2010 Kx450. In stock form from the day I broke her in, that bike sounded amazing. I purchased a PC system for it but left the stock stuff on. My buddies bike(we picked em same time) didn't sound nearly like my bike did.

The FMF PowerBomb header (not the MegaBomb) gives a really crisp sound from all the applications I've heard. Yoshimura RS-4 full system sounds good on just about anything.. especially the RM-Z450. I always thought the KX250F sounded really mean right out of the box, especially 2011/2012.

On a 2-stroke, imo the longer silencers like the Powercore 2 or one of similar length (no spark arrestor) sound better than the "shorty" ones. I think they sound more throaty, plus they tend to be better if you're looking for over-rev. The shorter ones still sound really mean though.

RM250 with an R304 real mean bark and nice pop off idle. The round two stroke silencers sound better than the oval IMO.

450 4 strokes and 500 2 strokes sound sweet nice deep thunderous tone.

Funny you say that, we have two bored out to 400 with full race motors sitting in our garage. They sing like you wouldn't believe when they get on the pipe. We love 2 strokes so much that we road-race them. My dad recently crashed at Sears and may be hanging up the boots finally, but we'll see.

A buddy brought out his TZ750 and we got to ride it. That thing was like a goddamn rocketship, but the RD400 sounded better IMO.

Pc kx250f. And they sound a little more crazy as the years pass. They are starting to rev so high amd fast it sounds like a 3 stroke if such thing exists. That deep raspy gurgle..

And the 06-08 twin pipe crf250r. Super raspy.

To me all 450s sound like a freakin tractor.
This is the correct answer. The Pro Circuit Kawasakis have always been the best sounding bikes from my observation.

Was waiting for someone to mention the RM250.

Carmichaels 05 RM250 sounded crisp with that factory carbon R304. Pretty sure its even shorter than the off the shelf R304 which is also super raspy!

Also agree on the RMZ450 with a Yoshi pipe. I love giving mine a sharp blip, it does sound mean!

Every single cylinder 4-strokes sounds like lawn mover. No matter how high revving they are.
I like 4 cylinder street bikes and 125&250 2-stroke motox bikes sounds.

That pipe will be pretty rare in the future, same as the inward angled twin Akras on the 06-09 crf 250s

I like this sound but I recently suffered a nasty case of RMophilia, which might be the reason.
