Agree 100% P1 is where it's at. R8 isn't much of a supercar, defiantly not In the hyper car league. But speed costs money.

The R8 v10 plus and lambo hurican are the same chassis/powertrain. yes lambo and Audi are owned my VW. If I win the lotto I will be buying a underground racing twin turbo hurican. They just broke the standing mile record at 247mph. Insane

I'd take a C6 ZR1 or a Viper GTS/TA/ACR over an R8 any day! A used Lexus LFA as well.

Most all the production based GT3 cars are extremely quick ( for highway use ) and local track days if setup right. They all have the strength's and weaknesses. It all depends on what options you want and what you feel comfortable doing. A poster on here the other day put up a picture of his 2012 Nissan GTR with a stage 2 ( 900hp ) that would eat that R8 and the Lamborghini for breakfast. The difference between a lot of them is a " muscle car " feel , or a "sports car " type feel , and everything in between. You just pick what you like best.
