Hot take, Haiden is an extremely poor example of what it means to be a professional athlete. Millions of young fans watching him, who unfortunately are being fed this manipulative narrative that being a shitty human being is fair game as long as you're successful. RIP Charlie Kirk. He was a good man who cared about others. It’s sad that we have to demonize those with different political/religious views and resort to violence. I cannot fathom celebrating the murder of a man who strove for peaceful debate, a father of two young daughters and a husband. Has society gone that far astray that they can’t show sympathy for another human being with different views and beliefs? My thoughts are with his family and friends.
