I haven't seen anything posted up here yet. One of the most influential members of the Texas motocross community, Shand Garcia, is having a pretty rough go with covid, If you've attended a major race in Texas in the last several years, one of the voices you heard on the mic was Shand's (usually alongside his sidekick, JP Parsons). He also owns Shock Sox fork seal protectors and wrote BERM "The Texas Motocross Chronicles" coffee table book. I must’ve got three good ones in a row then. Two over 130hrs. Change oil and clean air filters. Not one single problem. Strong as the day I bought them. And current, 60hrs, same. Glad I got so lucky.

He had a heart attack while riding his mountain bike today. Absolutely gutted... Mike was the sweetest, most genuine guy I know. We lost an amazing human today.

Deegan will always be one of the coolest pro riders I’ve ever met. Despite the bad boy image back in the day he couldn’t of been any nicer to a young moto rat like myself. RM Cup Cooperland OK 1997. After this pic (which Ronnie Tichenor took) Brian hooked me up with a bunch of Moto XXX stickers and asked about my motos that weekend. Super down to earth

Thanks for the feedback! There will be lots of tweaks for a few shows until we get it right. I certainly listen to the folks watching/listening, so please keep the constructive thoughts coming. We’ll keep working on getting better!

Unfortunately this can be expected with a brand new unproven and untested motorcycle. I'm sure their engineers in Spain are already working on a fix.

Bike development from the MXGP season will result in a production model, the timing is off for SX, I'd assume. It's also possible that the homologation rules get modified or reduced by then? Personally I'd like to see them talking to Bobby Hewitt...

I don’t know about ’smoked’, but I do agree and believe that Stewart was faster on a 125. But I definitely think that they would have been relatively close and obviously RC would have been more competition in the class than Stewart ever had, Likewise for Stewart being far better than any other 125 racer he had to face. We were pretty fortunate to have seen both of them race at all.....

I’ll say this about his recollection of events: We’ve had many long-retired racers on the show and their memory is often kind to them. There are many instances where guests said they finished on the podium or top-five, and a peek at the results will show them well outside those positions. It’s been over 20 years since some of these events, with a lot of hard miles in-between for Mike. I don’t focus on the exact results, but rather the story surrounding them. Mike is a sweetheart, always has been, he just made some really bad choices throughout his life...

Can we avoid the “brand new team/bike winning right away” talk? TLD has been around since 2009, and Barcia is essentially riding what Webb will be on. Not like he’s out there on a Sherco. It will be cool, but let’s not get sucked into fantasy land.
