You don't become super human as a pro. Dean knows what's on the line and felt the pressure to perform, which resulted in improper breathing and not being relaxed. It's not rocket science, but it's VERY hard to deal with in that position. If surgery really fixed arm pump anyone who could afford it would already have it done. The problem is between the ears and staying focused in high pressure situations.

As the old myth goes, maybe I'm playin with myself too much?
No, that causes blindness, not arm pump. Stop doing it when you find out that you need glasses.

Nothing more vulnerable than entrenched success. You become a prisoner to your past accomplishments.

What a precariously fine line these guys have to walk with the fans...."He needs to be more aggressive and not let these guys push him around"...."There was no call for that...he's just a dirty rider". SX/MX is a brutal, dangerous mix of skillfully semi-controlled chaos...stuff is ALWAYS going to happen.
MX fans are sometimes harder on the riders then the track itself.

If the pro get's to tight and takes up a wrong riding style/position due to stress, it's normal for him to get armpump.

Maybe he should give put-put with Erin up. (That was a joke)
All kidding aside he's only 5 points down on Hahn, who has really impressed me this year, but you do start to wonder if something is really wrong.

Wilson spends way too much time trying to take out other riders, period. I can't believe all the people who want to complain about Friese, but don't say anything about Wilson trying to take everyone out every time he passes or gets passed.

I'm over being a fan, don't like dirty riders.
Wilson is aggressive....he block passes, that's racing, nothing dirty about it. He was frustrated and tried to block some guys, however he never, at any point rode dirty, or put any one else in danger.
Freise cross jumps, under cuts, squeezes guys on the jump faces and is 2-4 seconds slower a lap than the top guys. Strait dirty rider, has been since amateurs. That is a fact. I am a fan of the sport not any rider in particular but Freise is going to hurt someone real bad soon. Hopefully he matures quickly. You can't even race next to the guy for fear of being taken out.
Huge difference between the two. If he would just ride and stop worrying about other guys he'd be a lot faster.
With that said, I have to give Barcia some respect for the way he has handled himself in the 450 class. I commented earlier he would get parked this season, but I think he has gained some respect from the other guys. Kudos.

Dean's always been a bit of an emotional rider though hasn't he? I think he'll pull it together before the end of the season. I'd be worried if he bottles the next round, but I have a feeling he is going to come out swinging.

Erin has epic boobs. Just saying.

I was gonna start a new thread but it'll probably slide in here just fine.
REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL...Part 3: Ricky's track design was amazing and by that I mean tough (as a 2 dollar steak/whore...your choice). The Speed coverage was great (if they missed it I didn't hear about it so I can't complain about it). Erin got a new/different hair color but to be honest if she was bald, wearing an eye patch and a peg leg I'd still love her...(she seemed to be a little more composed than normal so Deano didn't do her any harm). Jeff almost came off his high horse with Ricky a little bit...let's be honest, on Jeff's best day he would never have been close enough to read the Goats jersey #. The sooner he gives Ricky respect the sooner they can move on to some real funny put downs of each other and meld into the team they should/can be. The racing was, and I don't like to over use the term, EPIC. Guys racing the track as much as each other. What can I say...I'm a huge fan of "gnarly. Bottom line for me...great night of racing.

Erin wore him out at putt-putt? After the golf round he started thinking how it cool would be to play golf and not get hurt? He knows how to ride a bike but maybe just to young to know how to ride an experienced ride like Erin???
Did you see that picture of him rubbing his obvious boner against Erin's ass? He was probably riding with blue balls 'cause I doubt she was giving it up to a guy half her age.

I thought the outside pass with the cute little "handlebar flip" that he did on Bell, that Emig commented on and they showed the footage of, that caused Bell to knife the front end was uncalled for. It was clearly a "dirty trick" he'd learned and he just used to stop a rookie who he was having a hard time passing straight up.

I like Deano, guess because he's got lots of personality off the bike...but he seems to be loading his Karma wagon lately.

Totally disagree with that, looked like nothing but a racing incident pure and simple, between he and that outside pass on Bell, but I do believe he is dealing with an injury and therefore isn't training like he should, therefore dropping anchor, or some other issue. He is a better outdoor rider, and Daytona would favor a rider like him.
He did close early on in the race on Musquin, and they were both pulling away from Hahn, but then as Musquin held strong, Dean fell apart?
"Racing incident"? Maybe. Even Fro mentioned the "incident" and the sowed a clip of what happened, and of Bell taking a nosedive. Back when I raced, I've shifted other riders' bikes for them in corners, elbowed throttles & cables loose, and have participated in more than a few. "Pick-up passes"...all in the name of hard racing. Those would have been called "racing incidents" today. I think Deano saw an opportunity to remove an obstacle & took care of business.

Never been a deano fan, hope the #19 wins the championship. He deserves it. Deano totally under estimated his competion this year. Hes lucky that 450 ride did go threw, he be in a world of hurt. Maybe im just jealous of deano, cause he looks like howdy dooty, and gets all the monster girls lol!

With the injuries to DD,PC had very little choice on who to hire for a championship. Dean Wilson or they could've hired Ivan Tedesco for the 6th time, making his career almost equal to Cher's as far as "retirement" farewells goes.

Huge Dean Wilson fan here! So bummed last nights ride. He wasnt going triple triple triple (which hes more than capable of) then he stood the 19 and 77 up when they clearly had him covered. Alessi pisses me off for this same reason but after listening to pulp show this week ive decided that when it comes down to it there is nobody that genuinly works harder or loves this sport more than the 800 so he gets a pass from me. fading is one thing, being a sore losing jackass is another. Cant believe these kids throw away all that natural talent with partying and such then act like d-bags when they get schooled...as someone said earlier that stock is falling fast...but hey JG33 still gets good rides so wtf do i know

You mean the "fans" did!

I don't really understand the smack talk. Musquin was always going to be a strong contender (especially at Daytona) Will Hahn is having a fantastic start to the series, and Jeremy Martin is improving all the time. At no point in the night did he ride dirty (he did not deliberately tag Zach Bell) but for whatever reason he just had a slightly off night and still bagged a 4th.

I believe ol' Deano kinda screwed him self riding 250's for this last year. Everybody expects him to be dominating this year, and he is not. Plus Wilson is an outdoor rider, every year he has sucked in supercross. He should have stuck with ridding 450's this year, his stock is slipping away. Plus what I really want to see is who is the true 250 outdoor champ Wilson or Bagget. He needs this years indoors and outdoor titles to keep the hype he once had.
3/11/2013 4:37am
It looked like Wilson had arm pump. Marvin Musquin was on it and no one was going to beat him. If there was one or two more laps left in the race Jeremy Martin would have put Wil Hahn and his red number plate in 3rd place. It was a great 250f race and you can see that Martin has the confidence to pull out an sx win at the next round.
