Don't let pandering from the peanut gallery put a damper on what you've said... you're right on the money, and GT couldn't have had a better opportunity fall into their lap. Anyone telling you you're wrong just wants to validate their own existence by picking apart your honest observation and listen to themselves talk, that's all.

Nothing more vulnerable than entrenched success. You become a prisoner to your past accomplishments.

Sometimes being a smart entrepreneur means using a little humility in situations such as these. Given the relatively large size of the Vital community (and the obvious relevance of their core motocross audience) it would be in your best interest to develop a positive relationship with their active and media-happy admin (ocscottie) as opposed to being cocky and not wanting...

Regardless of where James currently shakes out among the top guys--and despite the blind and biased nuthugging from his biggest fanatics here on vital--I think that in spite of his struggles, James' attitude and character are finally coming around, and very well may be the final hurdle he needs to overcome in order to be consistent and competitive for the...

I don't think it was an "epic fail" however I can definitely see your point. Put another way, what if instead of the mix-up being Roczen and the #95, it was Carmichael and the #5? The number '4' has been a major mark of identity for Carmichael throughout his era of dominance in motocross and supercross... a mistake that surely...

I thought the same thing; no blatant/shameless promotional plugs, no doctored/PC statements from Eli or Zach... just a very fluid piece with relevant information their audience actually wants to read.

Let's not confuse the argument of missing the race completely by splitting hairs on quality. If you're like most people, watching the race at 720p on a modern computer monitor will do just fine... in fact it's the same vehicle by which all of us consume and share other moto-related video content on a regular basis (i.e. YouTube). And if...

Go to YouTube and type in some corresponding search terms. There are several YouTube channels with video of the entire show sans the commercials--uploaded and available only a few hours after the broadcast. Welcome to the 21st century.
Yeah, I'd be surprised if it was a complete tear. I've unfortunately had both a partial tear and a complete tear (resulting in an ACL replacement surgery) and both hurt pretty good; So much so, in the case of the complete tear, that my leg swelled up and went stiff to the point of not being able to bend it...

4mxonly Added a reply to Wrong rider choice in "Justin Barcia" for MXDN?

8/16/2012 12:25pm
Candidly I'm telling you--in no way am I questioning your honesty (i.e. whether or not I believe you); what I am saying however, is that for a company like Honda to say they do not have a significant stake in such a prestigious event seems backwards. Obviously it's enough of a priority for them to provide the necessary resources to...

What is the reach and scope of viewers for the MXoN? How about advertising impressions post-hoc (i.e. magazine and digital ads with US team and bikes on the podium)? Not to mention the high level of anticipation, buzz, and patriotism-fueled discussion generated from this global event. Honda (as with any OEM) is a global company and wants to sell motocross...
