I totally agree. I set my PVR, so it will record the freaking race... and I get home after a 20 hour drive. Pow. No race. And, not to mention I didnt record the 450s, because it was supposedly at the same time as the Speed broadcast. Way to go Speed. That is some quality work.

Go to YouTube and type in some corresponding search terms. There are several YouTube channels with video of the entire show sans the commercials--uploaded and available only a few hours after the broadcast. Welcome to the 21st century.

I dvr'd bothand watched the 250s first. During that show the speed ticker showed results for the 450 class. Good thing I avoided the internet most of the day.

I got lucky and watched the 450's first. I would have had a melt down If I saw the results while watching the 250's. I avoid all forms of social media when a race isn't showed live tell I watch the race. I can only Imagine how pissed everyone was that got burned by speed.

I don't see why you guys still make such a big deal about this. I had a race today so I had to miss both. Since I don't own a dvr I guess I have to wait for a re run right? Wrong. I just downloaded the torrents (20 minutes) from slicknick and now I'm going to watch both races in HD and commercial free. No worries, no stress.

And like 4mxonly said, the vids are always on youtube a couple of hours later. Here, I even did the "work" for you.

I don't know what you guys are taking about...who's "Speed"?

I walk down thru the tunnel & get my eye-brows torched on every start since Feld is into Pyro; but, I do get to see all the racing.

I'll bet Terry gets it ...

Let's not confuse the argument of missing the race completely by splitting hairs on quality. If you're like most people, watching the race at 720p on a modern computer monitor will do just fine... in fact it's the same vehicle by which all of us consume and share other moto-related video content on a regular basis (i.e. YouTube). And if you're so concerned about quality, do like Terry said; download the torrent and play it on your tv... I assure you it's quite easy to do and does not take a genius to figure out.

Slicknick's torrents are in HD. I watch them on my 42" LCD and the picture is great.

Did anybody catch the sparks coming off of Davalos' bike in the heat race. I think it was second to the last lap going into a corner after a jump on jump off.

Check it.

I thought I saw that, but seeing how the dick with ears (Ralph) didn't mention it, it must have not happened.

Don't hate on Speed too much. This is how I've learned it works directly from DishNetworks mouth. The networks, or cable channels provide the cable provider with the viewing schedule at least a month in advance of the programming. The networks have a deadline for final programming to be submitted by so that the cable provider and upload it to the end users cable devices. Providers (at least Dish Network) do not do updates to the programming guide on a daily basis. They won't make changes more than several weeks ahead. So, if Speed goofs on their programming and lists one show at the same time as another network is showing something similar, they would have to have the programming schedule submitted with the correction way in advance. If they find this out one week in advance, and even if they tell Dish Network, Dish is not going to change the entire uploaded guide just for that one show. It's maybe a more flawed system on everyone's parts. I read about the changed progamming so I set my DVR to record the Torq off road series at 12:00 even though it was the 250 SX. I also still recorded at 1:00 pm which was listed as 250 SX but was actually the Torq off road truck racing. Covered my butt either way.

I, for one, had both races ruined for me. I recorded the both the TORC hour and the Supercross hour on speed as well as the 450 broadcast. So, despite their best efforts, I did manage to record both races. However, when I sat down to watch I selected the 250SX to start, my DVR started just in time for Ralph's dumbass to say "Congratulations to Eli Tomac on making it 3 in a row!" Great... so now I know the results of the 250 class. I then went ahead and selected the TORC recording to watch the 250 class. Not even 5 minutes into that show and I see the results for the 450 class scrolling on the bottom. All this after I, like others on here, was very careful to avoid the net so as not to spoil the results only to have Speed spoil them for me. Dicks...

No offense, but if you guys spent as much time finding and watching the races as you do complaining about them you wouldn't have to complain anymore!

Seriously though, why worry so much about something you have no control over? (the broadcast schedule) You are just spoiling it for yourselves. Find the race and watch it! It's all right there. I don't worry if I miss the broadcast because I know where to find the races and I can watch them at my leisure and with no commercials. It's not hard.

My computer monitor is HiDef, as is my 50in lcd which is really cool when I watch the live races on the 50in and have the live timing and scoring on the computer....of vice versa. All you need is a hdmi cable.

Always looking for an argument...

Like some of us said, it's not about missing the broadcast (I didn't miss the race), it's about having the 450 race ruined for you by the scrolling results.

Please explain how you take that as looking for an argument? I was merely telling you how much of a dumbass you were for not being able to figure out how to watch a race. It's not my fault you pout because you accidently found out who won before you watched it. lol.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. It amazes me that you're a moderator here but are one of the biggest assholes on this board. You rarely make a post without taking a jab at someone else.

Learn to read dude, I watched the race just fine. I'm simply stating it was a bonehead move for Speed to show the results of a race that nobody had watched yet.

Hey, you took a jab at me first. lol. If you do that I'm going to give it right back. You know that by now so why are you surprised? I did read what you wrote but I was taking a shot back at you so it dosen't matter to me, as long as I have ammo. Tongue Besides, you are always one of the first ones to take a shot at me, whether I have it coming or not. Do you have a man crush on me cupcake?? Awww!

Don't take shots at people if you can't take it right back. This is VitalMX, not Basketweaving.com. Grow a thicker skin.

Dude.
