Aussies and Saffas dont hate each other. I think there is a bit of a friendly rivalry between all of "the colonies" and the UK also. Plenty of South Africans in Aus, the UK, Canada etc, and visa-versa. You just have to travel and see that Kiwis, Aussies, Saffas, Canucks and Poms all seem to end up drinking, travelling and having a good time together.

In my opinion both sides have been a bit petty and frankly fighting like teenage girls. and its a bit of a shame, because they all seemed to be at some points friends or at very least friendly. But this latest spat really made GL look like a fool in my opinion. yeah imagine the horrors of going to a hospital in Denmark, Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia or pretty much any other western nation. haha In Australia we operate with a boomerang because we cant afford scalpels. I hate to tell you but there are plenty of independent studies ranking countries medical systems.....and the "socialised medicine" systems are generally rated right at the top, not perfect by any means. but ask the people of those countries if they would like to do away with their system, and I guarantee the majority like having their medical system. This sport is way too small. Every little dust up becomes a big deal. Having said that, I think all of the media could stand to be a bit more professional. Your example of Ping above is good one. Also Donn Maeda taking shots at Works Connection every time Matthes does a product post, because Donn has some beef with Eric Phipps the owner of WC. I like em both, but IMO, Matthes is king of moto media, fair and balanced, "reasonable and nice"...and, in fact, 80,000,000 people think he's on the correct side of political history. I'm just sayin......

GL can beat his drum all he wants but PulpMX is king of quality audio, quality variety and quality content. I couldn’t get through all of Whiskey Throttle’s three part Reed series due to the horrible audio quality and GL interrupting all the time to bring himself into any story Reed was trying to get out. A few that come to mind: Savior by Rise Against - Not necessary a terrible song but they have sooo many better ones with incredible lyrics that I can’t believe this is the one that keeps getting played over and over again. I like their early and recent work for different reasons, but for some reason this song just seems bland compared to most of their lesser known stuff. Pretty Fly by The Offspring - I freaking hate this song, they have so many bad ass songs I don’t know how the hell this one ever caught on 21st Century...

This is such a non-issue...... Anyone who really sees what occurred as controversial must be hoping for individual timed speed runs (like downhill skiing) or subjective exhibitions like fmx.

At this point I think we just need to accept that some people just really dislike Ferrandis. I think they are a vocal minority. From what I can see, way more people are a fan of Ferrandis and really like what he brings to the sport. Let the haters hate, the rest of us can just enjoy the racing.

Can some of you mathematicians out there tell me how many bikes Ferrandis has passed clean this last month compared to the ones where there was contact. I reckon his pass numbers are well into the hundreds because of his starts How many has he hit, maybe it’s just some good old fashioned xenophobia.

Ferrandis is giving us fans some of the best that Motocross can or has offered us in some years. Its awesome. Would Hannah have gone for that sliver of light for the pass with championship points on the line, I'd like to think so. I'm enjoying the H#*@ out of watching him. And Masterpool! Hope the kid keeps it up. The 250F's have been pure entertainment.
