The PC curse continues..

those guys cant catch a break, gotta feel for Mitch.

It truly is unbelievable...  the PC guys just can't make it through a season.

Consistently hiring accident prone vets is not a curse. Raise your hand if you feel better that McAdoo and Hammaker will complete their seasons in the east region.

Sucks for Mitch sounds like his hands are tied. I'm glad Dudney got F out before he ended up in a Drew Adams "he does race for us, but he doesn't race for us, but he might race for us, but we'll have to find a bike and mechanic if he's going to race for us" situation.

Hmm yea theres definitely truth to this. At some point its not bad luck anymore and you have to maybe change the way you go about putting together the team. 

Its almost like a gambling addiction, he keeps going for the the high risk high reward but then gets burnt every time. Maybe instead of looking at it as championship or bust… and then busting, he may need a podium type guy that can make full seasons that can be molded into a championship guy over time. The forkners and mcadoos are always tempting with their high end speed, but its checkers or wreckers. A vialle or shimoda type of guy doesnt have the same flash, but will make the full season and are championship contenders. He had shimoda before and prob shoulda kept him. I do think kitchen isnt a crasher so on the east coast hopefully hell have better luck. 

So brutal.  PC is such a staple and Mitch is the man.  I don’t know if riders are necessarily injury free in our sport, but PC definitely seems injury prone.  

People always say that you get hurt when you start fixating on it and a lot of these guys have to hear/read/talk about “the pc curse” or if you’re forkner you’ve got every fan and media guy asking if you’ll make it through a season.  Gotta wonder if some of it is self fulfilling. 

It's time to put a proven veteran that will just put in a result every week.  Pull Phil out of retirement.

SX is meat grinder…. Anybody can go down at any time when out on these tracks, practice or race…surely there is some more Australians in the pipeline? 

Pretty sure that's the contract he signed. I doubt the rumor that Star tried to get him was false.

I guess they could bring over Adams but holy hell this is absolutely insane with the PC curse. 

Ever year I say the same thing.....bummer for Mitch.

I don't know if Mitch tried to keep Shimoda or what the deal was but Shimoda was a good fit at PC.

I’m trying to remember who the PC curse started with? 2012ish with AC is where my mind goes. I do remember Durham and a few other of the guys that rotated in throughout the years had some pretty big injuries that took up a lot of that short time on the team.

He really might have to call Phil just to make sure they have a bike in the main. With as fucked as Mitchs west coast is, calling Phil really wouldnt be the worst thing he could do.

Wonder how much it would cost to get Phil to show up.

What a bummer for Mitch and team. Hopefully they can have their luck turnaround on the east coast and outdoors.

If I'm Mitch I'm taking a trip to New Orleans and seeing if a Voodoo Queen can't fix this curse.  Can't hurt at this point.🤣

Continue to hire the same type of riders each year, and each year vital goes: poor Mitch can’t catch a brake.

While I don't think signing Marchbanks was a good move from a performance perspective I wouldn't say he's an accident prone vet.  

I think you’re right in that ground zero was AC, specifically when his shoulder popped out and Bogle took the championship, but since every team has bad luck I think you could also make an argument it either started with Savatgy (he’s kind of cursed everywhere he goes though) or just 2019 in general when both titles slipped away in the worst fashion

I would agree that this is Mitch’s fault if Mcadoo or Hammaker got hurt once again, but Marchbanks has never really been injury prone, just inconsistent
