I was crying with him, I wear glasses, I don't want to deal with contacts and my eyes also change every year. Also I saw a comment on that post saying the monster logo is demonic and that is the thing that leads to him crashing or something along the lines of that. I don't care enough about it to think about it, I am just a fan of the sport, I don't drink the energy drinks anyways, I don't even drink soda because of the carbonation.

that monster logo has seemingly done pretty well for tomac. 6 titles?

It's one of the worst books ever written in the fictional category tbh. I much prefer goosebumps or most of if not all Dr. Seuss classics.

It’s just ironic that Christ bashing always gets brushed over too. If I started unloading on some jew I’d be banned instantly.

"Christians" don't have the lock on nice people.

I'm here to support Austin, I wasn't the greatest fan but do wish ANY dirt bike-riding brother the best, especially after a crash and injury of any kind.

His persona seems to have changed and matured a lot these past couple of years. Good for him. I too hope he can work through this and come back just that little bit wiser and controlled. I also think his work with Ryno seemed to be really paying off, this incident aside, where it appeared the old Austin rush of blood to the head got him again.

Charles Manson? The Christian fu**wit? Are you serious? The dude was a known schizophrenic occultist and never once claimed to be a follower of Jesus. Hoping you put some more scholarly effort into your atheism than your history.

This is like the part in the movie “Talladega Nights” where Ricky Bobby gets scared and has to learn how to drive again.

Well actually, whatever religion or mental state you want to label him with, he believed he WAS Jesus.......  Wink

So I'll stick with Christian f'wit for the time being.

Im sure you get the actual point, arguable example aside.

Well charles manson did not raise himself from the dead so it doesn't matter what he thought, he was a literal lunatic.

I don't think anyone claimed Manson was a zombie, unlike "Jesus" the undead

Do you know who you're debating with about it? Just curious. He might know a thing about this situation.

Even if the contact was in the goggles somewhere it wouldn’t be usable without being washed. If his mechanic had a spare it would take at least a minute to put one in. Take gloves off, take helmet off. Get the new contact in and hear back up. All while your heart is racing.

Wish he had backed it down and just finished instead of going for it. But that’s never really been his default.

Wow . I came to see an update on Forkner and got some odd argument about Jesus being a Zombie and  a serial killer... Not sure I even want to trace the reply's back to see how You guys got there. But wow, that was a surprise.

Its easy to say he should have backed it down now that he had that wild crash. But who knows if he has ridden without a contact before and not had a problem, or how much he really thought it was impacting him at the time. With the confidence You have to have to ride at that level, having the awareness to back it down when You have a minor issue ,must be a difficult mindset to get into.

I just hope that he recovers mentally and comes back to winning. He looks so bummed out in the video he posted. And I totally understand why.

im here to give an actual update from his wifes tiktok instead of reading through 6 pages of peoples rants.

1. He got a MRI which showed no torn ligaments or tendons.
2. She said “he feels really good, this morning he said he’d like to go race some supercross.”
3. If he’s allowed to race any more sx this year, Nashville is the goal. (5 weeks away)

Good to hear. I’d prefer him not rush back and make sure he’s 100% before returning.

I can not believe this dude’s resilience. The fact that he’s shooting to be back before the nationals start is wild. Definitely an inspiration to all.

Legend, he’s kind of similar to Herlings. When he is on, he’s on. But injuries are his plague. Really would love to see him finish a full season uninjured he has so much talent

Amazing news on the update for AF.  Hoping he stays on track with his rehab and we see him soon back at the races on a bike.

Kooksey is reporting Austin is aiming for a return in Foxborough. Bad news for his competition. Great news for the fans.

That seems scary quick honestly but the dude has the heart and fire to get back on a bike. Hope he can get some good training in these next few weeks. I thought he was returning in nashville according to his wife but who knows.(I don’t trust cooksie or watch his videos)

He probably won't be running up front the first race or two at least. Maybe he does podium? That would be great. I just want him to be healthy going into the outdoors, hopefully contend for a title, make the playoffs, make some money. I've always rooted for Austin, even when so many didn't. Wish him the best.

The silly thing is that this year if you came 2,3 or 4th in each race you'd win the championship.

I hope Austin does back it down a touch and realise when he's in the lead he is most susceptible to pushing too hard/riding over the edge/making mistakes. That's when he most needs to contain himself.

Leading while riding without one of his contact lenses might have been a good time to be mindful and back it down to 2,3,4 places.

i.e. Ricky's do good/okay on your bad days.

I am sure that's not as easy as it sounds but man, for his own sake....

Hopefully, his work with Rhyno continues in that vein and this was just "one of those things".

This is starting to feel like a case of "When you fall off the horse get right back on".

Waiting for MX season to come around rather then racing at the soonest will just have him dwelling in negative thoughts about the crash.

Can't wait to see Forkner back out there. Awesome that he came out of that crash with a clear MRI.
