I’m all for the chainsaws at the MXdN. At an AMA Pro National, not so much. I don’t know what’s more annoying, the air horns and chainsaws during a podium interview or the constant screaming of “Red Bud” by the alcoholics at every RedBud race.

Timing is everything

The simple fact is that, as good as he is, and as dialed in on his KTM as he is… he just doesn’t have the pace to run with the Lawrence’s and Deegan. And today, his teammate Plessinger found enough motivation and speed to pass him, too. Prado’s not perfect, but he’s worlds better than this time last year on the bike that just ended Sexton’s season.

Yes that is very true. And to some extent, a lot of vet guys on 250Fs are doing an ECU and exhaust etc anyways, so it's just a few more things that will need attention (airbox and funnel etc.) That being said, it's not so much the amount of power, that I am worried about. I think it's more that I'm assuming as a stock bike, Yamaha maybe didn't think they could get the air velocity any longer, to make it run like the prior engine. I tend to agree. It ain't the bike. Look what Marchbanks is doing on it, and he's not the same speed as Chase. I've been a Chase fan for a long time. He grew up not real far from where I used to live, and rode at our local track in Illinois. But It's tough rooting for him when he's being such a little bitch. Kawi is paying him big bucks to ride and represent the brand, he's doing a poor job at both. I'm just about over his whining and his attitude.

With Team Green's pull with MX Sports, I'm willing to bet it would be legal somewhere in the amateur racing world..........

KTM goes 300 and Beta goes 350 so Kawasaki chooses 327. I think it's the best of both worlds perhaps.

Aside from releasing a two stroke in 2026, going back to KYB is one of the best choices Kawi could make for a new bike.
