11/27/2022 3:34am Depending on your budget, the new KTM 300 looks hard to beat for the versatility your talking. But definitely the ole YZ is a winner in any ones book.

11/27/2022 3:30am You can’t really go wrong with any modern bike 2 or 4 stroke. I have a 250 2 stroke and a 350 and both have pros and cons. My litpro data shows I’m faster on my 2 stroke, but I can ride harder longer on the 350. I think a lot of it comes down to what you like riding. The 350 likes to be ridden like a 2 stroke. Pros for the 4 stroke: traction on the dry hard pack Cons: fart sounds Pros for the 2 stroke: sound, power, weight Cons: erections lasting more then 4 hours should...

11/27/2022 3:26am Yeah forsure & it’s that 2T power that brought me back to racing after a decade off. I did ride a 450 for like 5 years before I took a break, I think I lost the love for the sport in the end. I came back in the 250T & was such a breathe of fresh air. But having done a couple race seasons now as a vet, when the track is battered, or it’s raining on slippery hard back, can see it’s tough to find a good Rhythm at times & ive been eaten up but a few 250f...

11/27/2022 3:26am For laptimes on a MX track they are very similar now. The 250F is just so efficient and easy to go fast on if you can ride it semi-aggressively (like dont lug it in 3rd.) But i think 250 2st still have that rush of ppwer that makes them feel way faster and more exciting.

11/14/2022 10:40am Disagree in general on blame the rider vs. blame the bike. 1) He’s magically better in whoops, when comfy, go faster, soooo that’s the bike 2) 23 frame vs. 22 3) As others have said, the analogy of Star vs. Factory Yami holds with an independent team 4) JB10 testing factor, the guy is amazing in the whoops, he’s an SX specialist I’ll concede one point, he’s probably putting more energy into his riding to prove the doubters wrong

11/14/2022 10:37am He’s in a rather cool position, career wise. He wants an SX title, and has earned enough to solidify his retirement for the rest of his life (presumably). Having a singular drive and the luxury of not having to sweat the monetary loss of a big 5 contract, that’s an exciting place to be for KR I’d imagine.

11/14/2022 10:36am It's great to see Kenny going good again, and it is equally great for our sport if he is, BUT.....I share some of the same skepticism others have about these statements from KR. Maybe he is speaking positively in part just to be able to secure a ride on something he feels good with instead of having to spend the next 9 weeks or so trying to sort out another brand, which would not put him in a good spot come A1. And if he did not stay with Firepower and does go the full independent route, he has a...

11/13/2022 7:01am I happen to like the AER forks. I had an 18 SXF 450 that was revalved by FC for my ability/weight and it felt pretty good. I just picked up a 2022 250 SX-F and the forks feel better than my revalved FC set up. Just fyi. The 2021-2022 forks are night and day better than the old AER forks. At least in my opinion.

I think a lot of people actually don't have an issue with their suspension until they read how crap it is on the internet.

11/13/2022 7:00am I'm one of the guys that doesn't really have a problem with the stock AER's, especially the 2020 and 2021 and newer. To me they are really good. I kinda like that the bikes are delivered with cheaper, lighter, easily adjustable air forks but the option is there to change to spring forks for those who so desire. Unlike competitors bikes where you basically get what you get and that's that. Now, what would be really cool is if you could pick which one you want and spec the bike at time of purchase and avoid having to do the...

11/13/2022 6:58am Dylan is a great rider. Let’s not pretend SX is his forte either. He broke his thumb coming into sx last year did he not(honestly could have been the year before?)? Then hurt his wrist in a crash I believe that caused him to pull out of sx.

11/13/2022 6:51am The heritage models that Husky released for 2023 look amazing. I think it's probably the best look. The one that rivals it is the stock 2016 deep blue and white design.

I'm not in the market for one, I'm just curious what people are paying for them." Reading comprehension, it's a beautiful thing. Some of you guys make me laugh, you remind me of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. We have Thread Nazis. You know what I do when a thread title doesn't interest me? 11/10/2022 5:21am It’s because we the consumer is not their target. It’s our wallets. So until we stop purchasing every 450 that gets produced each year, and start only buying 250/350s, they will keep building 450s and 250s
