You are aware that they were on the same lap….and Jason wasn’t doing anything over the line to keep him behind him. Speeds were close enough that it made it hard to pass. Then jett ran him a little high to ensure the pass. Nothing wrong with any of it….until Jett acted like a spoiled little child after the race. The only thing worse then a rider that thinks every other rider should move out of his way is a fan that thinks that. It’s a fucking race.

OP...this thread aged well. Coop is looking pretty damn good in practice/qualifying where he normally doesn't Lotta people counting him out...as they always have...and have been proven wrong time and time again.

It took Eli many more years to match RV’s records. RV came in and simply dominated then dropped the mike and retired. Dominating the sport against the competition RV faced puts him ahead on my list.

RV won every championship he finished beating RD and Stew who are both on the list of all time greats. Not to take anything away from Eli but the people he was beating are not going to be on the list, plus he raced 4 years or so longer to get these numbers.. RV is Barry Sanders and Eli is Emmitt Smith.. we all know who was really better

People forget that Prime RV2 straight up smoked JS7. Something that no other rider ever did. He wasn't the flashiest style - he mentally willed his way into the win more than any other rider I have ever seen. I miss 250 RV2 hanging out the back of it, taking the outside line while standing WFO

In what way more than those others? Even Stewart has admitted lately (kind of) he may not have been able to match Tomac beast mode. Didn't RV2 handle JS7 at times? JS7 was on the ground way too much I think. COW.

Better? Than RC? RC NEVER lost an outdoor title. in 10 years. Think abut that for a second. And even if Eli won SX and MX this year he is still not on even ground when it comes to titles.

Well, first you asked, "Name ONE more FINANCIALLY $$ successful DIRTBIKE Family" then you changed it to "I don't think the Fox Family made their millions as a Dirtbike racer Family." -The Fox family is a dirt bike family. -Brian didn't make his money as a racer. Now you're switching things up to simply riding a dirt bike. I would think Pastrana, Reed, RC, Stewart, ... all made more money riding/racing dirt bikes than Brian. Brian made the bulk of his money from other ventures that didn't involve riding/racing a dirt bike.

I honestly very rarely pay any attention to what the announcers are saying in any sport I watch. I only care about what I'm seeing. Between the running order ticker on the left side of the screen and having watched hundreds of races on tv and in person I know what's happening on the track. I learned to tune out the announcers after they decided to put Cameron Steele in the booth, or when Chris Collinsworth is announcing an NFL game 😂. I know both sports well enough, that I am more focused on what is happening on the screen...
