viking24 Added a reply to 70hp 125cc!!!
2/5/2016 8:14am So the plate isolates the crankcase...(sump now). It also closes off the transfers. The cylinder drawing shows extra ports and the homologation doc says 6 inlet and 5 outlet. My brain is exploding!

viking24 Added a reply to Who here has ever qualified for SX?
1/14/2016 12:13pm made 5 or 6 250 mains in the early 90's. Usually just missed out by a spot or 2. 17th was my best finish.
viking24 Added a reply to 125 production models ARE coming back, and awkwardly, Luongo will be the one to thank.
12/29/2015 11:50am it would be logical that KTM/HVA will deliver a DI 250/300 EXC class bike in Europe for the new Euro rating. Not needed for the SX model or the US XC bikes.

12/12/2015 11:34am I remember hearing how that Boyesen link bike design eliminated chain torque. The bike didn't squat down on starts. It was said to be like cheating how it launched off the gate.

9/8/2015 5:34pm 1990...Budds Creek National. I was staring at a top 5 Moto finish, if that Titanium shock bolt wouldn't have broke. Don't use Ti as shock bolts...crushing.

9/3/2015 8:41am I agree with you here. I understand what Rock is driving at, but I just can't get on the Namur bandwagon. The legacy is real, everyone knows that...but the track is crap for riders and spectating. Now Cingoli...that place is amazing.

viking24 Added a reply to Anyone try fitting YZ SSS forks to a KTM 450sxf?
8/15/2015 9:30am I put a set of KYB A-kits on a 2014 250 SX...incredible! I went with x-trig triple clamps...purpose made for the conversion. Only have used the YZ front wheel and brake though. Haven't got to do the wheel conversion. Suffers in the braking department, but those forks are oh so smooth.

8/5/2015 10:59am Started in '77 racing mini class. After thousands of hours of practice and lots of determination I turned PRO at 16 in 1985. Parents made me finish school, so in 1987 I began chasing the dream...10 years of it. Now at 46 I ride often and still race vet classes a few times a year.

8/4/2015 6:55am I don't see why the SX or TC needs the DI/EFI. Now the XC/ EXC, that is a different deal. Euro regulations for Enduro bikes might be driving that project. They sell many more 125/150s globally, that is why they received the updates first.

7/16/2015 6:51pm Pirelli MX32 (mid soft). Work great everywhere. I prefer the old MT32 front, but sadly gone.
