turbotime Added a reply to Alessi change..

ma800 is no more. Maybe he's injured? Probably embarrassed to see the speed associated with that number vanish. Mike needs to get in shape/racing form before he breaks out #800 again. Hope he fixes the issues and comes back swinging.. He's the fastest rider to have ever raced the the Canadian Nationals by far(However, a bit unlucky).

The east/west thing is kinda stupid IMO. Hold the 17 rounds open to all riders and let everyone ride whichever 8 rounds they choose(maximum). Force everyone to race Vegas(which would count for points) to have it actually mean something.

^--- Dungey only had Alessi to deal with and still couldn't pull it off. Stewart was schooling Alessi, in better form and with a better bike, when he went 24-0.

Motocross racing is regressing. Less people are riding. The competition level is declining if anything. Stewart is no longer in his prime and still won nationals/supercross races over the last 2 years. Prime Stewart/Carmichael would still eat this field.

I have a hard time believing he wasn't concussed in that crash. His head hit hard. That can have a long recovery time, despite how his shoulder is feeling. We won't be seeing a 100% Tomac for a while yet. Question is, if he shows up, will it be enough?

Nobody is saying AC didn't holeshot as an amateur. He did. I'm just saying he wasn't nearly as consistent as other legendary starters given his huge equipment advantage. Alessi, who also had a huge equipment advantage as an amateur, would holeshot damn near every time and continued to do so as a pro (while he was in his prime anyway)...

Has he ever been a good starter? Probably should be for his size... He did ok in the amateurs, but the skill level varies greatly even between the top riders. He's no Alessi. I remember him botching up at least a start per class over the years at Loretta's.

'We spotted Ryan Villopoto destroying the Glen Helen Raceway track last week as he prepares for his attack on the MXGP World Championship Series'[ This is how good he looked before the Euros destroyed him straight up.

Those small scrubs aren't really that impressive. You can pretty much just lay the bike over before hitting the peak without worry(especially on sand) This one was badass:

turbotime Started a new thread RV or AC? Who's going to fake an injury first?

To save face and future contract considerations of course. The world will implode if these two race clean and straight up for 18 rounds. I will bump this thread in a few months to see how this tale unfolds, as I feel this conspiracy will hold some validity. Hope I am wrong. Please remember to look for this thread in...
