KTM is clearly the best bike and team

They are dominating in both series and in both classes. More often than not they are the fastest bikes. Tony on a 350 in the past, Jeffrey (despite his weight), Andrew Short, RD....they all pull holeshots more often than anyone else besides Nagl on a Husky...otherwise known as a KTM. The new KTM's are lighter, faster, better handling and appear to give their riders an advantage over all the other manufacturers.

The numbers would seem to indicate that, yes. Worldwide, and in most off-road series too. How times have changed.

Lets see if Rd,222,JH84 were riding Honda's they would not be winning.
Ktm have great riders on their bikes n are on par with other manufactures.

KTM is goddamn hard core about racing, they are willing to change something if it doesn't work from year to year, unlike the Japanese who seem too prideful and slow to change lately if it interferes with their 3 year cycle.

Question is, what are the Japanese doing as a response to the Factory Edition? anything?

Until reed hit roczens wheel suzuki looked like the best bike as he had no problem passing and beating Ktms.

The way I see it KTM bikes were the dog bikes not so long ago....they have now caught up with the Jap bikes, when you look at magazine shootouts they have done well recently but are not the perfect bike some people claim them to be. Sure the FE's are great but are at a price and of limited numbers. If the Jap's made FE's then they would be as good as the KTM FE's. Non-FE's are NOT better than most of the the Jap bikes....fact. If anything the Jap bikes do well to be almost on par with the FE's. IMHO.

What does separate KTM championship race results from non-KTM results are the riders with good factory support. If those riders were on any other brand they would probably win as well, all power to KTM for having the budgets to have those riders.

The Dunge loves the new bike....its significantly lighter, more powerful, and handles better. Perhaps that could be the reason for his dominance this year. Have you also wondered how Jeffrey Herlings despite his size and weight always seems to power into the first turn in front just like Marvin has done all year? KTM has the best factory bikes now...get used to it.

The better bike is the one you like.
Factory wise i think KTM has the better tool at the moment. But thats a team effort.

Do you HONESTLY believe that he would have won a single race this year of the top dogs were racing? His strategy has ALWAYS been to sit in 3rd and wait for the top 2 to screw up. That's is his strategy and has been his strategy for a long time.

At the beginning of the season they were still trying to get the bike dialed in because the bike was so new. Roger, Carlos and Ryan are quite the team.

Give us an example of a championship where injuries or mechanicals didn't play a part of the outcome. Tell us which championship had every possible contender in it from start to finish. If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. If not for a thrown chain and running out of fuel Dungey would have two more championships. Does RV get your asterisk for those? No such thing. Last man standing at the end of a championship wins, period. Any other talk is comical.
